Good Morning Children of God, if it is Sunday, it is time to rise up, stand up, look around, lift your Holy Hands towards the Heavens, and say out loud, “Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus, you brought me through another difficult week, where I had to face many temptations, trials and tribulations.  I can truly say, I have come this far by faith, leaning and depending on you.  I know it was nothing but grace.  It was your grace that picked me up when I was falling down, stumbling all around, and could not find my way out of darkness.  Satan had come and stolen my joy, I had lost all hope of ever being able to turn my life around, but I kept hearing that voice saying, “You can make it, if you try.”  You can make it, I know you can!  I lifted my head up and looked all around, and said, “Thank you Jesus, I can do this!  This is a brand new day, and as far as me and my family is concern, we are going to serve you, praise you, and worship you Lord, praise you in every way, every day, with everything in my soul, I will praise you this day and for the rest of the days of my life. Because Praise is who I am, Praise is who we all are, we are your Children, and we have gather together to Praise and Worship you like no other time.  Thank you Jesus for allowing this Praise Service to begin…

JESUS IS RISEN, JESUS IS ALIVE, WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

The Bible teaches us to know the truth and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32)  What do you believe?

Do  you believe that Jesus is the Son of God?

Do believe that Jesus can give you eternal life?

Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and the sins of the world?

Do you believe that Jesus was put in a tomb and after three days he got up walking like a natural man?

Do you believe that Jesus lives today and he is directing the affairs of the world from heaven?

What do you really believe?  Let us watch and see the mysteries unfold.

The Bible teaches us this, “The work of God is: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Jesus came into this world, born of a virgin, do you believe?

He spent his life teaching us about his father who could do all things but fail, do you believe?

He heal the sick and raised the dead, do you believe?

He feed the hungry and gave sight to the blind, do you believe?

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

Do you believe that Jesus came down from heaven and gave life to the world?

Do you believe that you now have eternal life through the death and resurrection of Jesus?

Do you believe that Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God?

Do you believe that Jesus lives this morning and he lives in each believer’s heart?  Now let us watch Brother Ron Kenoly sing Jesus is Alive!  What do you believe? Listen and be blessed!

Jesus declares today Church,  “I am the bread of life.  He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Do you believe today church that he is who he says he is?

Do you believe that he can feed the hungry with two sardines and three packs of saltine crackers?

Do you believe that he can create in you a brand new creature?

Do you believe that he can provide you with prosperity beyond that which your bank account will not be able to contain?

Do you believe he is holy and merciful?

Do you believe he is lavish and filled with forgiveness?

If you believe this you ought to be on your feet praising God.

You should be screaming, I believe, I believe, I believe, do you believe?

Thank you Jesus for this message, I am now and forever a believer.  You delivered me from my sins, my depression, my unforgiving spirit, my sickness, my weakness, my lack, my limitations and you gave me eternal life.  I stand before the world today and declare, you are alive and you are living in me.  No more heartache, no more pain, or sorrow.  I stand filled with a heart of gold, love, pure joy and happiness.  I can declare this day that I am redeemed and I believe.  Now let us close with Richard Smallwood singing Bless the Lord.

JESUS ENTERS JERUSALEM RIDING UPON A DONKEY

Jesus Riding on a Donkey into Jerusalem (photo by photobucket.com)

As you begin to study this lesson and the many lessons you will study on this subject, be assured that all four gospels were in agreement on this great celebration and spoke clearly about the event.  Here are the chapters and verses you can find what each had to say:  (Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19).

Now let us understand that Believers as well as non believers from around the world will begin this Sunday Morning CELEBRATING PALM SUNDAY, and we encourage you, where ever you may be to join us here as well as your local church community and together we will lift up the one who said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me.”  It is a day of remembrance of the triumphal entry into Jerusalem by Jesus as he sit upon a DONKEY.  This was the first day of the week that Jesus would be crucified, and the great Passover festival was about to begin.  Jews would come to Jerusalem from all over the Roman world during this week-long celebration to remember the great Exodus from Egypt.

THE DONKEY SEEN AS THE TRUE SYMBOL OF PEACE (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

THE DONKEY SEEN AS THE TRUE SYMBOL OF PEACE (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

The symbolism of the donkey may refer to the Eastern tradition that it is an animal of peace, versus the horse, which is the animal of war.  Therefore, a king came riding upon a horse when he was bent on war and rode upon a donkey when he wanted to point out he was coming in peace. Therefore, Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem symbolized his entry as the Prince of Peace, not as a war-waging king.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey’s colt, he affirmed his messianic royalty, as well as his humility.  The people recognized that he was fulfilling prophecy.  The colt, never having been ridden, did not have a saddle, so the disciples threw their garments over the colt so that Jesus could sit on it.  The action of placing the cloaks on the donkey and Jesus riding it connotes majesty.  Crowds of people had already gathered on this stretch of road a mile outside of Jerusalem, going to the city for the festival.  “The crowd’s spontaneous celebration honored Jesus as they spread their coats on the road ahead of Jesus and cut

PALM BRANCHES

PALM BRANCHES

branches from the trees.  Some were spread along Jesus path; others were probably waved in the air.  The branches were from palm, olive and fig trees, and they were used to welcome a national liberator and symbolized victory.

Palm branches are a token of rest and peace after sorrow (Revelation 7:9).  The word “Hosanna” means “Save now, we pray you.”  Putting these thoughts together, it would seem as if the people were acknowledging Jesus to be the One sent from God to save them from Roman cruelty and to give them rest and peace after the sorrow of their long years of Gentile oppression.

The disciples did not realize that what was happening was in exact fulfillment of Zechariah’s prophecy, that Jesus was actually entering Jerusalem as the rightful King of Israel.  But after the Lord had gone back to heaven to be glorified at the right hand of the Father, it dawned on the disciples that these events were in fulfillment of the Scriptures.

TODAY’S ALTER CALL:

If you are a person studying this lesson with us today and have not received the saving grace of the Lord and would like to join the Lord’s family of BELIEVERS and receive ETERNAL LIFE, we simply ask you to, “BELIEVE!”

Now repeat this short prayer with me:  “Lord I am a sinner, I have sinned against you, I BELIEVE that Jesus died for my sins, and on the third day you raised him from the grave and today He lives.  I ask you to forgive me of my sins, and come into my heart and cleanse me of my sins.  If you have prayed this prayer with me, you now are saved and have ETERNAL LIFE  in glory.”

We encourage you to find a local Bible Teaching Church and begin to study and fellowship with other believers.  You can also return back here daily and study God’s word with us.  We share the truth of the scriptures daily, and you will find over 1000 topics for study and discussions.  May the saving grace of our Lord and Savior be with you now and forever, in Jesus name, AMEN!

WE ARE OUR BROTHERS’ KEEPER

We are the stewards of what God placed in our hands.  He gave us his only begotten son as a symbol of love, peace and justice.  In CELEBRATING this PALM SUNDAY, let us remember that we all are our brothers’ keeper, therefore, when we look upon the life and death and resurrection of Jesus, he showed us in so many wonderful ways how we too should live out our lives filled with love, peace and justice and never allow our FAITH to ever wavier on the fact “we are our brothers’ keeper.”  Now let us go out and serve as we have been called to do.

SUNDAY PRAYER PRAISE AND WORSHIP SERVICE 33 HOW YOU CAN STAND ON THE PROMISES OF GOD

CHURCH WELCOME MESSAGE 32

Good Morning Children of God, if it is Sunday, it is time to Rise Up, Stand Up, and together let up begin to Worship and Praise the Lord.  For He is worthy to be Praise, He is Worthy of all our Praises and Honors that we can heap upon Him.  He woke us up this Morning and started us on our way, and there is nothing in this world that should be more important than for us to lift up our Holy Hands and Thank God for all He has done for us, and then shout out loud praises unto Him.  How blessed we are this morning, to be in a position to open our eyes, look all around and in all things see and appreciate the goodness and mercies of our Lord, Oh what joy our hearts should be filled with right about now, knowing that the blessings of our Lord is upon us.

LET US PRAY: Most Holy God our Heavenly Father, it is with great joy that your Children have gather together this day to lift you up in Prayer, Praise and Worship, and therefore Heavenly Father, I seek the Holy Spirit to rain down a divine blessings in each one of their lives. Open up the windows of Heaven, and whatever their needs may be let it be done for them here on earth as it is in heaven.  Let the powers of the Holy Spirit transform their lives in ways that bring you glory.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

THE LORD’S PRAYER IN SONG BY Charlotte Church:

OUR SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY IS FROM THE BOOK OF PROVERBS 8:6-11 MOTHER WISDOM SPEAKS TRUTH

Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right, for my mouth will utter truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them.  They are all straight to him who understands, and right to those who find knowledge. Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.

OUR SUNDAY WORSHIP MESSAGE IS PRESENTED BY PASTOR DAVIS:

Good Morning Children of God, if it’s Sunday, it is time to get our Praise on.  Let’s raise our Holy Hands towards Heaven and say, “Lord I love you, Lord I honor you, Lord I praise you, Lord I give you all the praise and glory, because you are worthy, I say you are worthy, to be praised.  Nothing excites me more than the opportunity to praise you Lord.  But when each Sunday Morning rolls around, I am especially excited, because I know people of all stripes and colors and religion are doing the same.  Glory, Glory, Glory, thank you Jesus for allowing me to awaken to a brand new day of Praise, Prayer and Worship!  Let us lift up our HOLY HANDS, reflect on His goodness and mercy, and just PRAISE HIM, PRAISE HIM, PRAISE HIM!  When PRAISES go up, BLESSINGS come down.  Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!

NOW LIFT UP YOUR HOLY HANDS AND LET’S PRAISE HIM WITH THE JUBILATION GOSPEL CHOIR PSALMS 150

Our God is truly an awesome God and He deserves our Praises.  The Psalms says, “Let everything that has the breath of life in it, Praise the Lord.”  We truly are a Blessed people this morning, because He woke us up in our right minds and started us on our way, and all I can say is thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord.

LET US PRAY:

Eternal God, our Heavenly Father, it is with great joy that I have the opportunity to come before you this morning offering up a prayer for the people that you have placed before me.  There is a great need for many of our people that are suffering from sickness, diseases and many other illness and afflictions to be lifted up, cleaned up, healed and strengthen with your supernatural powers and provided with a brand new lease on life while on this earth.   My prayer is that they will open up their hearts and allow the light to enter in and the darkness that has engulfed them and kept them in bondage will no longer be.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

OUR SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY IS:  HEBREWS 12:1-2 ESV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
