THE PEOPLE CHOOSES A MURDER OVER A POPULAR TEACHER

THE PEOPLE CHOOSES A MURDER OVER A POPULAR TEACHER

PILATE WASHED HIS HANDS OF THE SITUATION (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

Today as we  think on all the good things Jesus has done for each one of us, and if you were one of those people in the crowd more than 2000 years ago would you make the same choice as they did.  How can you be certain that you would or would not?  On what basics are you making your decision?

Now let us look at how scripture records that event.  We know from our studies that the Jewish leaders clamored for Jesus’ death, while a Gentile woman believed that Jesus was truly innocent.

People of these times placed a great deal of importance on dreams.  God was sending a warning to Pilate through his wife, but he did not heed it.  Pilate’ fear of losing his very prestige job made him not listen to his wife with the warning God had given to her to give to her husband.  Listen to the message she sent to her husband, 19Also, while he was seated on the judgment bench, his wife sent him a message, saying, Have nothing to do with that just and upright Man, for I have had a painful experience today in a dream because of Him.”  (Matthew 27:19 AMP).

Now Pilate is caught up in a situation is regardless to how he truly feels about it and the fact that his wife is pressing upon him not to go through with it, if he wants to keep his job and prevent a riot from taking place, he must complete the task.  All the religious leaders went among the crowd, persuading the people to call for Barabbas to be released.  This is how the Bible describes the situation; 20But the chief priests and the elders prevailed on the people to ask for Barabbas, and put Jesus to death.  21Again the governor said to them, which of the two do you wish me to release for you? And they said, Barabbas!  Matthew 27:20-21)

The people knew that Barabbas was a revolutionary and a murderer, yet they still chose him over the Son of God, one who had done so much for them.  Faced with the same choice today, people are still choosing “Barabbas.”  They would rather have the tangible force of human power than the salvation offered by the Son of God.  Now think on this for a moment and look at your own life.

The crowd has really been wiped into frenzy and Pilate is caught in one big mess, so he says this to the crowd, “Then what shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?  23They all replied, Let Him be crucified! And he said, Why? What has He done that is evil? But they shouted all the louder, Let Him be crucified!”

24So when Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but rather that a riot was about to break out, he took water and washed his hands in the presence of the crowd, saying, I am not guilty of nor responsible for this righteous Man’s blood; see to it yourselves. (Matthew 27:22-23 AMP)

This hand washing was performed as a gesture of innocence to show that one had nothing to do with a murder, was a Jewish custom, not a Roman one (Deuteronomy 21:6-9).  In trying to excuse himself and place the responsibility for an innocent man’s death on them, he followed the path already taken by the religious leaders as they dealt with Judas in 27:4, saying, “The responsibility is yours!”  In making no decision, Pilate made the decision to let the crowds crucify Jesus.  Although he washed his hands, the guilt remained.  How do you feel after you physically wash your hands, of a situation that you have been heavily involved in that you know was wrong?

WHAT ARE YOU FEARFUL OF?

WHAT ARE YOU FEARFUL OF?

WHAT ARE YOU FEARFUL OF?

SCRIPTURE: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (1Timothy 1:7 KJV)

What is it about living in the beginning of your season that is causing you so much fear? We begin this year by telling you that God BLESSED you last year in such a way that he has chosen you to achieve the victory in this season. Then if God has chosen you to rise above the many frustrations, and obstacles that you would normally face on any given day, then why are you so fearful off moving forward towards your goals and achieving the victory that God has already blessed you with?

When you look into the book of first Timothy chapter 1 verse seven, this is what the word of God teaches us as Paul the Apostle’ has written, it says, “for God has not given us the spirit of fear.” let me repeat that one more time so that you don’t miss it, “for God has not given us the spirit of fear.” So if God has not given us the spirit of fear, then why are we faced with fear from every direction each and every day?

What is it that we are so afraid of that keeps us paralyzed in our tracks like a deer in the headlights of our automobiles? In this next sentence, Paul tells us that God gave us a “SPIRIT OF POWER, and then he gave us a SPIRIT OF LOVE, and he moved even further and he gave us a SPIRIT OF A COMPLETELY SOUND MIND.” By having a SPIRIT OF POWER, God is in EMPOWERING us to be able to overcome the evil spirits of the devil. He is saying to us, why should we just be completely paralyzed and sink back into our old habits, carrying all the same old baggage, making all the same mistakes over and over again? Do we not realize that God has shut the door on our past mistakes, and when God shuts the door tightly on something he will never open it up and allow it into our futures ever again?

Listen carefully my Brothers and Sisters; for I completely understand your fears, I have not always been immune from them myself. Yes, for many years I lived in fear of success of achieving the victory even though it was stirring me in the face. I did not want to believe that my goals were so easy achievable. God had called me into the ministry many years before I even accepted his call. I ran, I ducked, and dodged, I was like Jonah, I done everything I could to keep from walking into that pulpit and preaching God’s word as he had called me to do. Once I was able to be obedient to the call of God and begin to do the work that he had called me to do, massive success in my life became so easy, it was like turning on the water faucet and the water began to flow. God was blessing my life and all the people He had placed in my life. With the help of the Lord leading and the Holy Spirit teaches me, I was able to generate tens of millions of dollars for myself and so many others. I was no longer fearful of climbing to the top of the ladder that God had been trying to push me all alone. My fear of achieving the victory had evaporated because now God was using me in his own way to do his will, because my will was no longer important.

You see brothers and sisters, God provided me with the desires of my heart, he said “ask,” but when you ask, believe that I will provide to you what you ask for. When you ask in faith, be obedient to my word, and walk in the path of righteousness. Being obedient to the word of God help me to overcome my fears. Through all my ups and down I had to learn to trust God, lean and depend on him, and stop allowing the devil to fill my mind with evil thoughts, and begin to believe what thus says the Lord. By doing so I am where I am today, I am the son of the King; I am the disciples of Jesus Christ.

This will conclude today’s lesson, we will continue this discussion tomorrow and Sunday with tomorrows lesson title: “OVER COMING YOUR FEARS, LACK AND LIMITATION!”

DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERIOUS TRUTHS OF SPIRITUAL LIFE?

THE SUNFLOWER (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

Growing up into Christ (YOU ARE TRULY DIVINE)

The change of heart by which we become children of God is in the Bible spoken of as birth. Again, it is compared to the germination of the good seed sown by the husbandman. In like manner those who are just converted to Christ are,” as newborn babies,” to grow up” to the stature of the men and women in Christ Jesus1 Peter 2:2; Ephesians 4:15. Or like the good seed sown in the field, they ought to grow up and bring forth fruit. Isaiah says that they shall” be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3. Therefore, from natural life, illustrations are drawn, to help us better understand the mysterious truths of spiritual life.

Not all the wisdom and skill of command can produce life in the smallest object in nature. It is only through the life which God himself has imparted, that either plant or animal can live. Therefore, it is only through the life from God that spiritual life is begotten in the hearts of man. Unless a man is “born from above,” he cannot become a partaker of the life, which Christ came to give. John 3:3.

As with life, so it is with growth. It is God, who brings the bud to bloom and the flower to fruit. It is by his power that the seed develops,” first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.” Mark 4:28. Moreover, the prophet Hosea says to Israel, that “he shall grow as the Lily.”  “They shall revise as the corn, and grow as the vine.” Hosea 14:5, 7.  And Jesus bids us” consider the lilies how they grow.” Luke 12:27. The plants and flowers grow not by their own care, anxiety, or effort, but by receiving that which God has furnished to minister to their life. The child cannot by any anxiety or power of its own, add to its own stature. No more can you, by anxiety or effort of yourself, secure spiritual growth. The plant, the child, grows by receiving from its surroundings that which ministers to its life – air, sunshine, and food. What these gifts of nature are to animal and plant, such is Christ to those who trust in him. He is there” everlasting light,”  “a sun and shield.”  Isaiah 60:19; Psalms 84:11, he shall be as ” the dew unto Israel.” “He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass.” Hosea 14:5; it Psalms 72:6. He is the living water,” the bread of God… Which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.” John 6:33.

Now in the Maecenas give of his son, God has in store call the whole world with an atmosphere of grace as real as the air which circulates around the globe. All who choose to breathe this life given atmosphere will live and grow up to the stature of men and women in Christ Jesus.

As the flower turns to the sun, that the bright beams of may aid in perfecting its beauty and symmetry, so should we turn to the Sun of righteousness, that heavens light may shine upon us, that our character may be developed into the likeness of Christ.

Jesus teaches the same thing when he says, “abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except he abide in me… Without me you can do nothing.” John 15:4, 5. You are just as dependent upon Christ, in order to live a holy life, as is the branch upon the parent stock for growth and fruitfulness. Apart From Him, you have no life. You have no power to resist temptation or to grow in grace and holiness. Abiding in him, you may flourish. Drawing your life from him, you will not wither nor be fruitless. You will be like a tree, planted by the rivers of water.

Many have an idea that they must do some part of the work alone. They have trusted in Christ’s for the forgiveness of sin, but now they seek by their own efforts to live aright. However, every such effort must fail. Jesus says,” Without me ye can do nothing.” Our growth in grace, our joy, our usefulness, all depend upon our union with Christ. It is by communion with him, daily, hourly, by abiding in him, that we are to grow in grace. He is not only the author, but the finisher of our faith. It is Christ’s first, last, and always. He is to be with us, not only at the beginning and the end of our course, but at every step of the way.” I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.” Psalms 16:8.

Do you ask,” how is I to abide in Christ?” In the same way as you received him at first.” As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk you in him.”  ” The just shall live by faith.” Colossians 2:6; Hebrews 10:38. You gave yourself to God, to be his holy, to serve and obey him, and you took Christ as your Savior. You could not yourself atone for your sins are changing your heart; but having given yourself to God, you believe that He for Christ sake did all this for you.

By faith, you became Christ’s, and by faith, you are to grow up in him, by giving and taking. You are to give all, your heart, you will, your service, give yourself to him to obey all his requirements; and you must take all, Christ, the fullness of all blessings, to abide in your heart, to be your strength, your righteousness, your everlasting helper, to give you power to obey.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO STAND FIRM WITH POWER?

THE POWER OF GOD'S GRACE STANDS FIRM WITH ALL HIS CHILDREN (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

This question may seem strange to some; Do You Have What it takes to Stand Firm with Power? In all actuality it is a defining question if your goal is to live out your created purpose. The Christian journey is an opportunity to share life’s teachings, so don’t waste time needlessly because your journey is God given, your destination is where you’ll spend eternity.

When you make the decision to follow Jesus your life takes on a different meaning, there will be life changes that often seem unbearable, you lose many “friends” and often members of your own family may withdraw because they have not yet been able to grasp the entire picture.

THOUGHTS ON DISCOVERING LIFE CHANGES OF A SERVANT (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

THOUGHTS ON DISCOVERING LIFE CHANGES OF A SERVANT (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

A servant, a follower of Jesus can expect hard times, tough times, hard work and dedication, but learn to take it all in joy knowing the purpose of their calling.  The servant or follower is encouraged to reach out to the lost and those seeking to know more about this wonderful relationship so graciously offered.

Remember the Great Commission as Jesus instructed: “Go into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) We are to familiarize ourselves with this thought; “to every creature” so that everyone may know their freedom has been brought and paid for in full by a resurrected Savior.

Once you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit the question, Do You Have What it takes to Stand Firm with Power should become a part of who you are in Christ.  Remember when Jesus called the Twelve together, how he gave them power and authority and to proclaim the kingdom of God? (Luke 9:1-7 NIV) that same power lives today in true believers because it is God given.

In order to work under the anointing of the Holy Spirit your character must be that of clear thinking, gentleness, holiness, and honest love. We are called to work, as believers we become one body in Christ and all power was given to Jesus by God for Jesus so stated: “His Father have given him power over all flesh “(John 17:2) through his sacrifice we are able to share in that gift. Through him we are encouraged to use our gifts as instruments of peace sharing his gospel with others. Do you have what it takes to stand firm with power?

Stand Firm

Stand Firm (Photo credit: WELS.net)

For we are many members in one body, and all members have not the same office (Romans 12:4), knowing this gives each of us the opportunity to develop and enhance whatever that gift is to draw the lost, it may be a gift of  prophecy, ministry, or  teaching, whatever your calling is prepare your hearts and spirit for opposition. Always remember God has created and assigned you with purpose; therefore, as long as you’re in Christ Jesus nothing or no one can tear you down, but the attempt will be made. In your weakest moments, trials and struggles, do you have what it takes to stand firm with power?

Jesus is your Master, salvation comes through him, in obedience and faith embrace his teachings, follow his pattern for life and you’ll never regret one moment because your destination is not earthly but heavenly (eternal). Dedicate your entire being before God, and watch how he changes you from inside out, how he is able to bring the very best in you to the surface. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18),  when you’re confronted with discouragement and find yourself wondering, do you have what it takes to stand firm with power, you’ll know the answer at the appointed time.

THE TIME IS NOW TO EXAMINE YOUR ENERGY FIELD

THE TIME IS NOW TO EXAMINE YOUR ENERGY FIELD

WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES

GOD PROVIDES OUR SOURCE OF ENERGY (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

GOD PROVIDES OUR SOURCE OF ENERGY (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

OUR GOAL IS TO LISTEN AND LEARN WHAT THE ENERGY SOURCE IS COMMUNICATING TO US:

I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 ESV)

When is the last time you missed out in EXAMINING YOUR ENERGY FIELD?  Your ENERGY FIELD should be connecting at all points and at all times, of-course the unexpected will happen usually when least expected. So if our lives are going to be connected to the ENERGY SOURCE we must be on watch for interruptions, disconnect and/or total blackout; examining your ENERGY FIELD allows space for tune-ups and recharging.

Keep vigilant watch over your heart, it’s where life starts, avoid gossip and evil ; you will soon learn that those who take to gossip causes much trouble, they’re restless and constantly seeking ways to make other’s lives miserable by doing so, one may ask the question, are you taking time and opportunity to examine  your ENERGY FIELD? When saying and doing things that causes others harm, in some way you’ve allowed yourself to venture off course.

Keep your eyes straight ahead, ignore those tactics that can cause you to lose focus of the source that gives your life sustaining ENERGY; EXAMINING YOUR ENERGY FIELD helps you to realize you need to refocus and get back on course. In your journey, watch your step, the road will stretch out smooth before you and keep you on course.

Now many may wonder, “WHAT IS AN ENERGY FIELD?” It’s the interconnection between your SPIRIT and GOD’S SPIRIT that dwell in your earthly body. The difference is, God is the giver and sustainer of life, so he knows when we break from him, and he watches over us. We are given the opportunity to reconnect and fill our SPIRITS with the GOD given light, the choice is ours.

WORDS OF WISDOM give directions for life, words that encourages you to consider the importance of EXAMINING YOUR ENERGY FIELD. Gods’ words are like a beam of light on a dark path, when we commit our way to him. Ponder his teachings, watch your step and avoid detours by living in obedience and respect for God; learn to live life in expectancy. Keep God’s words close to your heart, follow his instructions and live in freedom of grace. By EXAMINING YOUR ENERGY FIELD you are in constant awareness when default occurs.

Many would like to know the MIND OF GOD and how it works, but that is the beauty of the mystery, the source of all ENERGY FIELDS, he designed it that way before human nature came into existence. He is the source of power and strength that alone should encourage our hearts when we feel lost or disconnected.  Examining your ENERGY FIELD helps you be reminded that there is a “STATION” for repairing and replenishing so why not tap into the source? Are you looking for blessings, fulfillment, and joy, peace of mind, strength and power? Tap into the SOURCE, you will find that by taking time to EXAMINE YOUR ENERGY FIELD, you’ll find the place to reconnect, thus reap the benefits.

THE BIRDS OF THE SKY DEPENDS ON GOD FOR THEIR SOURCE OF ENERGY (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

THE BIRDS OF THE SKY DEPENDS ON GOD FOR THEIR SOURCE OF ENERGY (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

God is the maker and creator of all elements of the universe and is the point of all existence; therefore, taking time to get to know the source gives each of us a chance to share in “all” he has to offer. We are able to relate to each other because we are connected in such a way that in a human state we are not able to understand the magnificent gifts of all we are blessed to share.

He launches his promises earthward–how swift they are to come! He spreads snow like a white fleece, he scatters frost like ashes; he broadcast hail like birdseeds–who can survive his winter! Then he gives the command and it all melts; he breathes on winter–suddenly its spring! (Psalm 147:12-18, MGS). The awesome power of God is at work, at all times.

Now I encourage you to think deeply on these things, for they are truly the mysteries of God that opens the doors that connects us to the source of all Energy in the Universe.  We live in the present and the oneness of all that God provides for us to gather unto ourselves at any moment in time.  Then He allows us to use our deep imagination to travel through space in time powered by the greatest Energy Source ever known to man.  When we take the time to fully engage our Minds with the Spirit that lives within, we are re-connecting and re-powering our fuel cells with the Energy Source that no man can give to us.

Know that you and I are marvelous made and we function in this Universe as Energy, because God made us that way.  However, in order for our bodies and minds to always function at the highest level possible at all times, you and I must take time to RE-EXAMINING OUR ENERGY FIELD!  Now listen to what the word of God says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.” (Ephesians 6:10 ESV)

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY

Shania A. Byars the Dreamer (Photo by Pastor Davis)

Shania A. Byars the Dreamer (Photo by Pastor Davis)

Throughout this year we have discussed with you many times the word transformation.”  We have done so because we realized early on as we begin this teaching ministry that in order for us to be successful at what we were doing, we to needed to be in the flow of the transformation process.

We have learned a great deal from your many wonderful comments, and as we continue into 2012, we will apply the knowledge and understanding we gleamed from your thoughts and apply them to our teaching methods in hopes that many more of you will gain some valuable lessons from what is being taught here.

The subject of this lesson is:  “YOU HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY.”  The very first thought in many of your minds will be doubt.  Saying, I don’t have any power.  Others have the power, but I am powerless to transform a single dream I have ever had into reality.  That is truly the kind of negative thinking that hinders you from becoming the genius that God destiny you to become from the very beginning of time.  Now let me encourage you to pause your reading right here for a moment and watch this short video clip as it helps to further engage your mind with great thoughts of manifesting your dreams into reality.  Please continue reading on the other side of this video clip.  After you have completed this message, do not forget to click on the share button and share it on your social networking page as well as with friends and family.

Let us understand this one very important thing in our lives, and that is, our negative thoughts are the seeds we plant in our minds that begins the process of creating lack, poverty and all the things that we have dreamed of having, but have not been able to obtain in our lives thus far.

When your thoughts are always centered on the negative side of life, you set up the conditions which correspondence with the predominant mental attitude in your mind.  Therefore, if we fear disaster, as fear is a powerful form of thought, disaster will be the certain result of our thinking.  It is this form of thought which frequently sweeps away the result of many years of toil and effort.

However, if we begin the process of planting positive seeds in our mind instead of the negative ones and begin to think of some form of material wealth, the results will be that it will show up at the time and place it is most needed.  By concentrated thought the required conditions will be brought about, and the proper effort put forth, which will result in bringing about the circumstances necessary to realize our desires; but we often find that when we secure the things we thought we wanted, they do not have the effect we expected.  That is, the satisfaction is only temporary, or possibly is the reverse of what we expected.

This condition is because, we lack the knowledge of the power and where that power derives from.  Know that God is the source of all power that we have within our physical bodies and spiritual minds.  Therefore, we must learn to lean and depend on God when we are face with the difficult task of the transformation process.  Listen to what God tells us to do, He says, “ Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).  (Jeremiah 33:3).

When you are ready to put your trust in God, the power of transformation will show up on your front door step.  The power to make this happen is already within you.  God gave this power to you from the very beginning of time.  So when you say you are powerless to make your dreams become a reality, think on this, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.  (Psalms 37:4-5 AMP).

We must transform our thinking in order to realize our dreams.  The old orthodox way of thinking was to be “a worm,” to be satisfied with our portion whatever it is; but the modern idea is to know that we are entitled to the best of everything, that the “Father and I are one” and that the “Father” is the UNIVERSAL MIND, the CREATOR, the ORIGINAL SUBSTANCE from which all things proceed.

Now admitting that to transform your thinking from the negative to the positive and it has been taught to us for more than two thousand years, and it is the essence of every system of Philosophy or Religion, then how are we to make it practical in our lives?  How are we to go get the actual, tangible results here and now that will make our dreams become a reality?

First, let us begin by putting our knowledge into practice.  Nothing can be accomplished in any other way.

The athlete may read books and lessons on physical training all his life, but unless he begins to give out strength by actual work he will never receive any strength; he will eventually get exactly what he gives; but he will have to give it first.  It is exactly the same with us; we will get exactly what we give, but we shall have to give it first.  It will then return to us many fold, and the giving is simply a mental process, because thoughts are causes and conditions are effects; therefore in giving thoughts of courage, inspiration, health or help of any kind we are setting causes in motion which will bring about their effect.

Let us understand that your thoughts are spiritual activity and is therefore creative, but make no mistake, thought will create nothing unless it is consciously, systematically, and constructively directed; and herein is the difference between idle thinking, which is simply a dissipation of effort, and constructive thinking, which means practically unlimited achievement.

Remember, you have the power to make the transition from the old person to the new person.  It all lives in the power of your belief system, your thought process.  Now take advantage of the power that God has given to you, stop giving lip service to who and what you are and become the true creative power that lives within.

We minister to you this day from the position of PEACE, PURPOSE, POWER and PROSPERITY.  Learn to think Globally as you work Locally to make this major transition in your life.  I remain your brother in CHRIST, PASTOR DAVIS/MASTER TEACHER!

GOD HAS BLESSED EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN WITH AWESOME POWER

GOD HAS BLESSED EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN WITH AWESOME POWER

Today is the first day in the life of every American Citizen to make a change.  You were blessed with awesome powers from the beginning of time.  You may not have always known how to exercise what was given to you, but on this day, that opportunity has presented itself in a very unique way for each of you to stand up, come forth and show the world the great power that God gave you.

The power is in your vote.  It becomes awesome in its nature when you exercise it by casting your ballot

THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MY VOTE COUNT

to vote.  A great number of people have already exercised their power including this writer.  If you are an American Citizen that is reading this article, and if you have not voted, let me encourage you to go out and do so.  The polls in your area are open, and you must take advantage of this opportunity right now.  Don’t be a slacker, be a proud American Citizen.  There is no excuse that you can offer, for not using the power God gave you.

Our democracy depends upon each of its citizens being well informed and then doing what’s right in the sight of God by exercising the power God gave them and vote.  Now is the time for each one of us to make a difference and help our country to stir its ship of State onto the right course for the next decade.

Many of our parents have fought and died for our right to vote.  Today, the struggle still continues, and there are those who are fighting just as hard to block our access to the polls, and the right as an American Citizen to use the power God gave to us.  You must not allow that to happen.

Let us not forget, although God gave us power to do what is right, God is still in charge of all that takes place in this country and the universe.  We operate under the authority of God and that includes each one of our leaders.  At some point each one of them will have to answer to God for their actions over their Citizens and the power God placed in their hands.  But on this day, each one of you will determine whose hand you are willing to give the power to rule over the greatest country in the world.  The choice is yours providing you exercise your God given power and vote.

My Maximized Prayeris that God will strengthen your physical body, enlighten your spiritual mind, and

Giving God all the praises for His Marvelous Light (Photo by Pastor Davis)

fill you with the Holy Spirit in such a way that His Marvelous light will shine through  and His glory will be on display in all that you do this day.   You are a child of the King of all Kings, and how you act and what you do when faced with the many challenges that could present themselves when you go out and exercise your right and power to vote is my prayer for God to cover you with His grace and it will protect you from all evil spirits that may come upon you this day.  In the name of Jesus, I pray, AMEN!”

YOUR EYE IS A LAMP THAT LIGHTS UP YOUR WHOLE BODY

YOUR EYE IS A LAMP THAT LIGHTS UP YOUR WHOLE BODY

The lamp of the Whole Body (Photo by Pastor Davis)

What a bold statement to make, however, this is not one that I made, but one that Jesus made.  Jesus wanted you to understand the pure simple operating powers of one of the tools that the father gave to you to help you function in this universeJesus often used bold language to describe the powers God had already invested in us.  Jesus wanted us to understand that if we learned how to use this one great tool, we could achieve the supernatural in our lives that otherwise would be lost to us.

Now listen to how Jesus describes the use of this tool for us.  He says, “No one lights a lamp, then hides it in a drawer. It’s put on a lamp stand so those entering the room have light to see where they’re going. Your eye is a lamp, lighting up your whole body. If you live wide-eyed in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light. If you live squinty-eyed in greed and distrust, your body is a dank cellar. Keep your eyes open, your lamp burning, so you don’t get musty and murky. Keep your life as well-lighted as your best-lighted room.”  (Luke 11:33-36 MSG).

In our previous lessons we described to you how Jesus used parables to help you understand the truth of His teachings.  This simple message of the lamp and eye is a powerful truth for those who take the time to understand what it means in their own lives.

Let me explain, when Jesus used the word “lamp” he was referring to the person who hears His message, responds to it, and spreads it to others.  In this teaching situation, it seems that Jesus was describing his own ministry and message as lighting a lamp that was not hidden or put under a basket, but was done in public with a message available for all to accept.

The lamp is Christ’s message, and “light” is the truth of his revelation and guidance; the eye represents spiritual understanding and insight that is filtered through the “good” or the “bad” in a person.  When a person’s eyes are pure, that is, when they are operating properly, the illumination makes it easy for the body to function.  Those with “pure eyes” are those true disciples who listen and respond to Jesus guidance.  By contrast, when eyes are evil, that is, when they are not operating properly, the result is impaired functioning for the rest of the body.  Those with “evil eyes” are those who reject Jesus words; all they have is the darkness and futility of their own evil ways.

To have the light within actually be darkness would be a dismal condition.  That would mean that no goodness would be left, for even what might have been light would actually be dark-what good should have been there would actually be evil.  But with Jesus, and with the filling of the Holy Spirit, a person can be filled with light, with no dark corners.  This cannot happen from within–for the light does not originate there.  It has an outside source, as though a floodlight is shining on you.  That outside source is Jesus himself.  Jesus is truly the light of the world and your eye should always remain focus on that light, because in Jesus there is truly no darkness.  Now watch this short video clip which summaries what it means to keep your eyes on Jesus.

MY MAXIMIZED PRAYER FOR PURE EYES

Father in the name of Jesus, as your servant, I seek pure eyes that I may listen, be obedient, and respond to your son Jesus’ guidance.  I seek to do your will as you would have it done.  My eyes have been open to the truth of your teaching, and I will go forth into the world and carry out your mission, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

RECOGNIZING YOUR REAL SELF AS BLESSED

When you bless a person, a place, a thing, you recognize the Presence and Power of God within them, and your blessing calls forth the good into active manifestation.  You tune yourself into the reality, or soul, of the person or thing.

Your Real Self is the manifestation of this Rose (Photo by Pastor Davis)

When you praise anyone, that person at once begins to unfold, as a rose unfolds and expands, because you are recognizing that person’s Real Self.  Recognition is the power of Blessing.  Recognition is a law, and what you recognize will become quickened and active!

I want you to recognize as I teach you in these next few lessons your Real Self.  A person that is truly Blessed beyond your wildest imagination, and how you are to use your Blessings to bless others.  When you begin to recognize your Real Self in these lessons, it will respond to you as you first respond to it.  When you recognize a friend, he are she responds to you and they will seek to bless you with their love and appreciation for the friendship you share.

Now listen to what the scriptures teaches us.  “BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].”  (Psalms 1:1-3).  (AMP)

Now have you ever stopped to think of the meaning of the word to “bless”?  What does it mean to you?  You will find the dictionary definition of the word to “bless” is to “praise,” to “consecrate.”

It has even a deeper and more fascinating meaning, which you will discover for yourself through its use.  It is the key word to personal power.

When you praise anyone, that person at once begins to unfold, as a rose unfolds and expands, because you are recognizing his Real Self.  Recognition is the power of Blessing.  Recognition is a law, and what you recognize will become quickened and active!

When you bless a person, a place, a thing, you recognize the Presence and Power of God within them, and your blessing calls forth the good into active manifestation.  You tune yourself into the reality, or soul, of the person or thing.

This one act incurs a double good.  You help the person or thing you bless, and you consciously align yourself with the Power of All Good.  What can you think of that has a greater fascination and allure than to know that through a simple act of yours, you can release the hidden good in countless persons, and make many apparently troubled situations smooth and easy?

Now pause your thoughts for a moment and watch this video clip and let it take you on a journey of peace and blessings this day.

In lesson two we will teach you how to begin the process of setting aside a definite amount of time for blessings.  Just click on the next lesson following this one and continue to study with us daily.  By sharing this lesson with a friend are family member you will be blessings them.  Your learning process has begun.  Now continue to bless someone, anyone right now by sharing this message and start counting your blessings daily.  In Jesus name.  Amen

IS YOUR WALK WITH GOD ONE OF ABSOLUTE FAITH? (Romans 12:1-3 MSG)

IS YOUR WALK WITH GOD ONE OF ABSOLUTE FAITH? (Romans 12:1-3 MSG)

NOW IS THE TIME TO PLACE YOUR LIFE BEFORE GOD

PASTOR DAVIS MASTER TEACHER SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER

I truly believe that this is a reverently question today because I see too many Christian walking and talking as though they are completely lost in this world that we are living in.  They are lacking in their faith and talking out of both sides of their mouth.  God is not pleased with our actions, or more importantly, our lack of actions.  It is time for a change, and in this lesson today, I am going to present to you ways in which you can begin to reinvigorate your walk with God.

Now listen up all of you, to what I have to say, “So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Do not become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You will be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

I am speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.

You can take what I have to say to you here right now as meanless, are you can get up from sitting in front of that television screen are just lounging around in your bed.  The choice is yours.  It is time to stop making excuses are blaming others for your lack of energy and enthusiasm for overcoming your weakness in being a true Christian that God has ordain you to be.  Attending more Bible studies, more prayer meetings, reading more Christian books, listening to more teaching tapes without an outlet for the truth we have already acquired, will cause us to spiritually decay.  What we need to do right now, is to take what God has given us and use it constructively in the lives of others.

Let me explain what I mean.  There are many new converts that are coming into the kingdom of God daily.  One of them could be a member of your church, your community, a neighbor, a friend, family member are someone you just met.  It does not matter who they are, or where they might live.  The opportunity for you to begin to renew your spiritual life and help someone else at the same time is always right in front of you.

Now when taking a new believer under your wing, you are not only encouraging a new child of God, but you are saving yourself from spiritual stagnation.  The new believer needs our wisdom, knowledge, and experience, and we need the zeal, spark, and childlike simplicity of faith that a new Christian possesses.

Have you ever led anyone to Jesus Christ?  Have you disciple anyone?  Have you taken any new believer under your wing and helped him along?  If you will, it will reignite your spiritual life as that person discovers the truths of God for the first time and you rediscover them.

Children are the best illustration of this process.  When you are with a child, you begin to see things through a child’s eyes again.  As the child discovers things for the first time, you rediscover the newness of those things.  It is wonderful when a child first discovers the ocean, walks on sand, picks up snow, or tastes ice cream.  These are things we adults take for granted, but when we see a child discover them, we share in his are her excitement.

In the same way, when we see a new believer discover things from the Word and the excitement it brings, it reignites us.  Often, they will ask difficult questions that will make us search the Scriptures for answers.  And there are always things we have learned but forgotten.  A new believer’s questions can help us to rediscover (or discover for the first time) many important spiritual truths.

The fact is, many mature Christians come to a point where they simply dry up.  When this happens, many begin wondering what is wrong with them.  Some seek a solution in finding a new church, or some new teaching that supposedly will revolutionize their lives.  In most cases, the real problem is simply spiritual sluggishness.  The person in this position should be passing along what he has learned to a younger believer.

Jesus said that “whoever has [or is passing it on], to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have [is not passing it on], even what he has will be taken away from him (Matthew 13:12).

Proverbs 11:25 says, “The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.”  I have found that the more I give, the more God seems to give back to me.

At one point, the children of Israel were facing the problem of spiritual stagnation.  God told them through the prophet Isaiah to get their eyes off their own problems and start giving away what they had been given.  Isaiah 58:6 says, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to lose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?”

His promise to them for being obedient is found shortly thereafter in Isaiah 58:8, “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily.”

You can be a partaker of that same promise if you will open up your life to disciple someone else!  It can start today, right where you are and with the people, God has brought into your life.  For the sake of those who do not yet know Christ, do not forsake God’s command to “go and make disciples.”  For the sake of a young believer, do not let apathy rob you of being a blessing to him or her.  In addition, for the sake of maintaining an exciting, fruitful walk with God, do not ignore these commands of Jesus.  The promises and the blessings are for those who will apply what I have spoken to you here today.  Indeed, the harvest is plenteous and the laborers are few.  We need more laborers, more disciples.  Are you ready to make a change in your walk with God?  If your answer is yes, then get up and become a laborer on the battlefield for Christ.

Now let me close with this final thought for each one of you who have taken the time to read this entire lesson and the many lessons we teach here daily, “Think globally, and work locally. Looking beyond ourselves in the real and on line world, to reach out to others who might be in need, for we all are truly our Brothers Keeper, salvation is FREE for the asking.

If you have not experienced the life saving blood of Jesus Christ, stop and take a moment wherever you may be, and ask the Lord to come into your heart. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and if you have spoken these few simple words in truth, you are saved, and now have eternal life.

May God continue to bless each one of you? Today I minister to you from a position of peace, power, purpose and prosperity in Jesus name. I remain Pastor Davis/Master Teacher.

FREE YOUR MIND AND LIVE IN PROSPERITY (PART 2 OF 2)

“NO MAN HOLDS POWER OVER YOU EXCEPT THE ONE YOU GIVE THE AUTHORITY TO DO SO!”

In lesson one, we presented to you the problem of why you were not able to FREE your MIND and live in PROSPERITY.  In this lesson, we will present you with the first prerequisite of what you must do in order to begin living your new life in the world of PROSPERITY.

The first prerequisite of having the great abundances of this life is to be set FREE.  Your mind has to be FREE of the bondage that is keeping you from having all the things that you desire in this world.  It is not that man is not providing you with a job to meet your basics needs that is hindering you from having.  It is your own thought process that is keeping you from having; your dependences upon another man to provide you with a job that God has already told you to use your own thought process and you can have anything that you may desire. Free your mind and be free indeed.  If the Son of God Sets You Free, you must realize the greatest news of all and that is, “You are truly FREE.”  At a time when Jesus was speaking truth to power, this is what he said to the Jews and what he is saying to you and I right here and now, “Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. “If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will FREE you.” (John 8:31-32 MSG)

These are the words of truth that were birthed in you from the beginning of time.  They are the words that will allow you to create that job that you are concern about in order to be in a position to meet your basic worldly needs.  They are the words that will bring about that change from the old man to the new.  They are the words that you can take to the cashier at your bank, present them with a check with whatever amount you desire at the time and be guaranteed it will be cashed with no questions asked.

You are the ruler of your life, the power given to you by the maker and creator of this world.  “No man holds power over you but the one you give to hold such power”  And when you are ready to make the change and your determination is so great that you are willing to do whatever is necessary to be the true ruler of your life, the new person in you will show up and nothing can stop you from rising to take your place in this world of great abundance.

Remember, in the past you have allowed yourself to live in captive, drug down, step on, and the invisible yoke of bondage put around your neck, and the heavy bondage of life worries placed upon your back.  The thief came in the front door and stole all the love and joy away from you.  You were unable to hold onto your job, and therefore all your earthly goods and everything that you had perceived as good was stolen away from you.  Now you are suffering from a lack of determination, no energy and fight left in you to be able to take back what was stolen.  Jesus has warned you that the thief was going to do this.  However, you allowed your mind to set idle, doing nothing good for yourself, becoming a couch potato with the T.V. remote pointing and flicking from channel to channel and the cell phone constantly dialing and gossiping about who is sleeping with who. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORD THAT CONCEIVED YOUR LIFE?

Now listen to the truth of Jesus words as he was warning the people, “Jesus told this simple story, but the people had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. “I’ll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.”

“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd puts the sheep before himself, sacrifices himself if necessary. A hired man is not a real shepherd. The sheep mean nothing to him. He sees a wolf come and runs for it, leaving the sheep to be ravaged and scattered by the wolf. He’s only in it for the money. The sheep don’t matter to him. (John 10:10-12 MSG).

Your life is worth more to Jesus than a job with the money you will earn to pay your bills.  Jesus is the Good Shepherd.  He is the one that will preserve your mind from the idle thoughts that allows the thief to enter in and still and kill you.  Haven’t you allowed him to do enough damage to you?  “DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORD THAT CONCEIVED YOUR LIFE?”

Now as we conclude this word of truth, it is my hope that this word has stirred up a passion in your soul and given you new life to begin a new way of thinking and living, allow Jesus to have the final word that can make you whole and bring truth and salvation to your soul.  Here they are, the words of Jesus.   “Now that you’ve cleaned up your lives by following the truth, love one another as if your lives depended on it. Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God’s living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God himself! That’s why the prophet said,

“The old life is a grass life,
its beauty as short-lived as wildflowers;
Grass dries up, flowers droop,
God’s Word goes on and on forever.
This is the Word that conceived the new life in you.”  (1 Peter 1:22-25 MSG)

After this Jesus spoke and then gave us the greatest commandment of all, and this is what he said, “And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment.

The Second Is Like It, and Is This, “You Shall Love Your Neighbor as Yourself. There Is No Other Commandment Greater Than These.” (Mark 12:30-31 AMP)

Now my brothers and sisters, it is with great joy that I am thrill beyond my own imagination that you have comprehended what has been taught here and you will use it to your benefit to rise above where you are right now to the level God is trying to push you to be.  I urge you to think globally and work locally.  I minister to you today from a position of PEACE, PURPOSE, POWER and PROSPERITY.  This is the Word that conceived the new life in you. Always remember this truth, ““NO MAN HOLDS POWER OVER YOU EXCEPT THE ONE YOU GIVE THE AUTHORITY TO DO SO!”  I remain your brother in ChristPastor Davis/Master Teacher.

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY

YOU HAVE THE POWER TO TRANSFORM YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY

THE DREAM LIVES IN HER MIND (BY PASTOR DAVIS)

LEARNING TO USE YOUR AWESOME GIFTS FOR SERVICE TO OTHERS

LEARNING TO USE YOUR AWESOME GIFTS FOR SERVICE TO OTHERS

THE WAY OF LOVE

This lesson begins with Paul a servant of Jesus Christ, being in prison and writing a letter of encouragement to his son Timothy.  Paul begins with these words, 8-10So don’t be embarrassed to speak up for our Master or for me, his prisoner. Take your share of suffering for the Message along with the rest of us. We can only keep on going, after all, by the power of God, who first saved us and then called us to this holy work. We had nothing to do with it. It was all his idea, a gift prepared for us in Jesus long before we knew anything about it. However, we know it now. Since the appearance of our Savior, nothing could be plainer: death defeated, life vindicated in a steady blaze of light, all through the work of Jesus.

This is the Message I have been set apart to proclaim as a preacher, an emissary, and teacher. It is also the cause, of all this trouble I am in. Nevertheless, I have no regrets. I could not be surer of my ground—the One I have trusted in can take care of what he’s trusted me to do right to the end.

So keep at your work, this faith and love rooted in Christ, exactly as I set it out for you. It’s as sound as the day you first heard it from me. Guard this precious thing placed in your custody by the Holy Spirit who works in us. (II Timothy 1:8-14 MGS)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. (II Timothy 1:7 AMP)

My question to you today is, do you know what gifts God has equipped you with?  Do you understand that you are a marvelous created person? Each one of you has been given a very special gift.  You were created in the image of God.

You My Friends, you were created for God’s own purpose and service in this life. Do not think that God made a mistake when he purposed you to do great things. God never gives us a task to do without empowering us to carry it out.

Today I want to teach this lesson from three different precepts. 1.  Power,  2. Love and 3. Self discipline.  These three precepts when mixed together with the process and your purpose in this life will provide you with the greatest prosperity ever known to humankind. By taking the time to study this lesson, means that you are truly beginning the process. The process may not be easy, but the process is what you must go through in order to arrive at your destination. The one reason why so many of us fail at the task that has been assigned to us is that we work so hard to skip over the process in order that we may receive the prosperity.  Remember, God created everything in an orderly process, and if we are to receive the benefits of God’s gifts to us, we must do the same.  God created the process for our benefit.

The bible teaches us that God did not bring us this far to leave us, and God will never put on us more than we can bear.  We are uniquely designed, with great powers of our minds to carry us to great heights.

In Jeremiah 33:3, we see that God spoke to Jeremiah and told him these words, “Call me,”  “and I will show you great powers that you never imagined that you had before.” The powers to do great things were given to us before we were conceived in our Mothers womb. We can use these powers to climb great mountains, to build huge skyscrapers, build sophisticated spaceships, which are capable of taken us into space and then returning us safely to earth. These are just a few of those great achievements that God has shown us that the powers of our minds can accomplish anything providing  that we attune our minds with God  mine. In the bible the book of Philippians it states, “Let this mind that is in Christ be also in you. When we connect our minds with the mind of Christ, our blessings of prosperity will begin to flow like an untamed river flowing its waters back into the sea. That is what power and especially the powers of our minds will do for us.

We do not need to have naturally powerful personalities. God gives us strength of character and confidence that wins us respect when we face opposition as we speak, preach, and live the truth.  God supernaturally replaces any timidity on the servant’s part with boldness.  Such power is difficult to discredit. Power, God awesome powers.  Understand the very important gift that God has equipped you with. Learn to believe in it, use the powers of your mind to practice the task you have been assigned this day, and as you grow in God’s grace prosperity will begin to flow to you in great abundance.

The second precept is love. This is one that we could spend the whole day studying and never reach the end.  Scripture for this text states God did not give us a spirit of fear, but he gave us a spirit of power and a spirit of love.  Oh, what a wonderful God, who saw our needs before we entered into this world.  Therefore, he provided us with the awesome powers to love.  God taught us to love our neighbors as ourselves. Love comes from the inside of each one of us. When we truly learn to love ourselves as God has taught, we can begin to love others  with a spirit of un- conditional love. In John 316 the bible says that God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son,  that whosoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life. My friends that is truly an unadulterated pure love. A love that is unmatched, by anything else that we have ever know in this life.

Now listen to how Paul speaks of the greatest gift that has ever been given to humankind. Paul calls it “THE WAY OF LOVE.” (I Corinthians 13:1-13 MSG)

If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. 2If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. 3-7If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

When I was an infant at my mother’s breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good.

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!

But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.

The virtues of faith, hope, and love are necessary in this age, but is the age to call come, faith will be way to sight, and hope will turn into experience. Love alone is eternal, for God is love. (I John 4:8.)

Now we come to the third and final precept, which is self-discipline this can also translate to the art of self-control or sound mind.  However, we may perceive it, we must understand that it is a part of our mind power that God has provided us with and we must learn how to control ourselves under all circumstances.  The power of your Mind is truly awesome.  You can use your mental powers to achieve success that, up until now, you have only ever dreamed of.  It is a Universal truth that life tends to move you towards the physical equivalent of your predominant thoughts and feelings. A great many people are well aware of this fact but most find it extremely difficult to apply this knowledge and put it to work effectively in their lives. Are you one of those people? If you are, then do not worry because I am about to show you how to overcome this little problem.

Now for all of us, our training in the art of self-discipline begin the very moment when we come into the knowledge of the truth of this proverb, “listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.”  Self-Discipline means that you are wise enough to obey this proverb and have acquired enough wisdom, knowledge and understanding to begin the process of training your mind as well as your physical body in the art of self-discipline,  Being obedient to the word and able to climb that great mountain of obstacles, and manifest your dreams into reality.

As a Godly leader, and a follower of Jesus, our spiritual lives should form the core of our character.  Our training should be a daily process in building up the spiritual mind in order that it will always prevail against the evil spirits of the devil.  Our training should be like that of a runner or a boxer.  During the course of a race, runners do not stagger from one lane to another.  They rivet their attention on the finish line and run a disciplined race toward it.  So also, boxers train with purpose so they can absorb powerful blows without falling down.  They build up their physical stamina so that their legs will hold out for the final rounds.

A wrestler once asked his coach, “can’t I smoke and drink and have a good time and still wrestle?”  The coach replied, “yes you can, but you can’t win!  We as Christians and godly leaders cannot win the race either, if we are unwilling to discipline ourselves to studying and obeying the word of God.

Now if you truly want to be a godly leader, and learn to serve humanity, you must cultivate your spiritual journey like a world-class athlete.  Why? In order for you to finish the race without being disqualified, you must develop the art of self-control.  By doing this you can and will affect other areas of your life-how we treat others, where we go for answers to major decisions, and the skills we use in accomplishing our daily tasks.

When we study (2 Timothy 1:7), we soon discover that Paul was prompted to encourage his fellow worker to maintain a holy boldness and assurance in his position of spiritual leadership.  Paul had commissioned Timothy to oversee many of the churches in the Roman province of Asia, and this task required “a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” Self-discipline is needed to stretch us beyond our own comfort zones and areas of personal inertia.  For some, the needed discipline will be more in the realm of the emotions; for others the focus of self-control will be in the realm of the mind or of the will.

Writing to the Galatians, Paul said that “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23).

While people without Christ can exercise self-control, this quality in its fullest expression of character transformation is a part of the spiritual fruit that only the Holy Spirit can produce in us.

Self-discipline is seldom easy.  Paul’s words to Timothy revealed that this young man probably struggled with it in his ministry.  And most leaders who come across the need for more self-discipline in their lives struggle at times as well.  God’s Spirit is the power source behind self-discipline.

In conclusion, let me say that all of these three precepts of qualities are gifts of the Spirit, not just natural tendencies.  They function best in harmony.  Under the pressures of leadership, people tend to gravitate toward a desire for power and boldness as the most effective tools for success.  However, used alone, these qualities are self-defeating.  The inclusion of love and self-control clearly indicates that a leader’s effectiveness comes from God’s Spirit.  We may be impressed by a leader who exhibits boldness and power, but without love or self-control, such a leader is little more than a bully.

Now with your understanding of these three precepts, we urge you to come boldly before the throne of grace, preach and teach the word of God with all the awesome powers God has given you.  Preach the word in season and out of season, and never give into the evil spirits that will call upon you to speak otherwise.  You are a servant of Christ, as such, you were provided with spiritual gifts to serve others, and your job daily is to go into the world carry the gospel to those who are in great need wherever they may be.  Do this in the name of Jesus. Amen!

HAS SATAN BECOME THE AUTHORITY FIGURE IN RAISING YOUR CHILDREN

Group of children in a primary school in Paris

OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE

HAS SATAN BECOME THE AUTHORITY FIGURE IN RAISING YOUR CHILDREN

The enemy has taken the fight to our youth…

Parents, are you willing to risk being run over by the children of your community?  What has God placed in your hands that might be attractive to them?  If we are to restore the path for our children, we must be willing to do what it takes to arrest their attention.  We must stop being passive and become pro-active in helping to bring about a change in their lives.  It might mean that we have to sacrifice our nice carpets and beautiful homes to bring them in.  If you are going to invite the children of the community into your home, your carpet will get dirty, and your patience will be, tried and tested.  How committed are we to lifting these kids out of their maze of misery?  In a sense, the children are our own pathways to the future.  If we ignore the children of our communities, we do so at the cost of our very own future.

Now listen up parents, Youth violence has gotten totally out of control, with no one knowing what to do or how to control what is happening with our youth that are destroying our communities.  Everyone is pointing the finger at the other.  If we could only stop for a moment, and take a good look at what is happening within our homes, schools, churches, work places and government offices, we will see the real enemy that has taken control and that is the old devil himself.  Yes, Satan has gotten control of every avenue of our children’s lives, and we all are standing around and blaming each other for all kinds of things rather than seeing the real enemy of God and that is Satan.  Satan knows that by spreading his violence among our youth, he can begin to penetrate Gods kingdom by causing them to become addictive to drugs, alcohol, joining gangs, killing each other, killing their parents, then committing suicide themselves.  You see Satan truly has his game plan together, while we are sitting around blaming each other for the many evil deeds that our youth are committing.  Some of us are locking ourselves within our homes afraid of our youth, afraid we might be next.  It is a sad day in America when we as adults have become so fearful of our youth, when our future lies in the very ones we are fearful of.  I do realize that some of our youth have gone astray and it should give us a very good reason to pause and take a good look at what is happening within our society as a whole.  Look at just how we as parents and grandparents are raising our own children, allowing them to tell us what to do are not to do.  These are the same youth, that are taking control of our communities and threaten all of us that we have become so fearful of.

Stop blaming and start acting…

There is enough blame to go around when some say that it is liberalism that has caused the violence.  Others say that it is the removal of prayer from our schools.  Some say it is the steady stream of violence we see in the movies, on the nightly newscast, on all sorts of TV programs, and especially the video games.

There are still others who blame the government for overtaxing us, and forcing parents to have to abandon their children for the workplace.  When it comes to youth using guns to settle their differences, there are those who would blame the gun manufacturers and the gun dealers.  But no where do we see anyone taking responsibility for what has happened.  Not the parents, schools, churches, business, government, or the youth themselves.  No, everyone wants to place the blame on someone else.  It is time that we as parents and grandparents begin to accept the major portion of responsibility, and take control of our children’s lives and get the government out of our homes and bedrooms.  We as parents are responsible for raising our youth and it does take the whole community to be involved and always willing to lend a helping hand.

It is time for Parents to take a stand and fight a good fight…

When I was a young boy growing up in a very small community in South Carolina, everyone knew everyone and no one was ever afraid to correct any child of the community, if they saw us doing something wrong.  Every parent and grandparent was responsible for every child of the community.  Today, if you correct a child when you see them doing wrong, you will have the parents knocking at your door for chastising their child.  You might even have the police come calling on you, if you are lucky that the child has not shot and killed you.  There is something badly wrong with this picture, but it is the reality of the world we live in today.

Another part of this problem of correcting children is some of the abuse that some parents have perpetuated upon their children that has caused the government to get more involved in our daily lives.  We as parents are responsible for our children and we must shoulder that responsibility with love, understanding and patience.  Children can be a problem.  There is much peer pressure on them.  They want to fit in with their friends, therefore as a parent, we must try to understand their changing life style, and their growth hormones as they experience adulthood.  We must treat them with respect, try to understand that they too do have problems and they may not always share those problems with us.  Nevertheless, we must always be willing to put our arms around them and daily tell them that we love them, even though we may not be having the kind of conversation we would like to have with them.  However, I tell you that there is power in love.  When our youth can feel within themselves that they are loved, it brings a much different kind of respect from them.  However, we must never compromise our principles and allow our children to be disobedient and disrespectful to us are the people that are in authority.  We must stand our ground and always be willing to discipline them with love.  We must always remain strong and keep our focus on raising our children to become responsible and loving adults, ready and capable of taking on the mantel of future leaders within their communities and of the world.  We must never except defeat as a way of giving up on our children.

We must believe that we as a chosen disciple of the one living God has been given the power to change the course of our destiny by changing the way we view our children and the people that are committing the evil crimes within our communities.  We should never forget that evil survives because we choose to let it rule over us.  We must resist it on every hand, using the power that God gives us, and believe me, we do have the power to stand up and take the fight to the enemy.  God has given us that power if we choose to use it.  All we have to do is call on him.  He said that he would never leave us or forsake us.  He will always be right there with us even until the end of time.

Standing up to the enemy may not be the way you would view your mission in this world, but if you don’t, who will?  Sometimes we have to just say no to the enemy, and do what is unpopular at the time even if our life depends on it.  If we stand up for Christ we are most certain to lose our life, but what are we living for any way.  This world is not our home; we are just passing through on our way to our eternal home.  We must be prepared to face the enemy with all our strength and might.  Then and only then will the enemy have a sense of who we are.  The enemy will always feel that he is the biggest and baldest bully in town as long as we allow him to back us down.  There comes a time in our lives when we must say no backing away or running away from a situation that I can no longer tolerate.  This enemy is threaten my family, my community, my way of life, and if I don’t do something about it right now, I will no longer have a family or community to live in, because he is taken it all away.  It is up to me to bring an end to this right here and now.

HOW WE LIVE IN BOTH THE SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL WORLD SIMULTANEOUSLY

How we live in both the Spiritual and Physical World simultaneously

We have become more and more aware that we are part of a spirit world that is present around us.  We also understand that we are more than just this physical presence we have, but that we are composed of a spirit, a soul and a body;  in essence a triune being.

Because we are spirit, we have our existence both here in the physical, but as well, we have our existence based in a spirit world that we have become more acutely aware of.  We are, in essence, energetic beings, existing in both a spiritual and natural world, simultaneously.

Translated in English, what does it mean?  It means that we co-exist in 3 worlds simultaneously, and as we have become more and more conscious of that existence, we are more and more aware of our abiding and our interaction within that realm.

Imagine with me if you will a vast ocean.  Moreover, there you stand, immersed in this vast ocean, at one with it.  You sense it, you feel it, and it flows through you.  This ocean is the world of spirit that you have your existence in.  You are a part of it, and every aspect of this ocean affects you and is a part of you.  We live in this world of spirit, 24/7, but most have no awareness of this reality.  Never the less, this ocean, this world of spirit, is reality, and affects all things.  You may think you are a physical being, but you are more spirit than you have ever realized.

Living in this world is analogous to experiencing on-the-job training. We come here to attain growth as a soul (an individualized aspect of spirit). As a spirit, we are already perfectly one with God. But with every human body and life we experienced on Earth over the millennia, we create a different soul body to be the vehicle for our spirit as it experiences the world in the vehicle of a human body. At the physical level, our body is conscious. At the soul level, our mind is subconscious. At the spirit level, we are super conscious. We are multi-dimensional and exist in three different worlds at the same time. There are many abodes and many dimensions. We are working our way back up “Jacob’s ladder” of success toward the goal of perfected individuality as a soul to go along with our already perfect Wholeness as a spirit. We are evolving into an individualized version of the Whole which is “God” consciousness.

As a human being, we seem like such a small creation in an infinite universe, but this is only an illusion. As individuals, we are the human and soul part of God. We are extensions of thought in the Mind of God (the collective Whole). We are bringing this higher universal consciousness into this tiny world called Earth while at the same time we are developing individual consciousness. We are the Mind of God becoming human. We are the body, mind and spirit of God evolving into a perfect individual-divine unity. We have examples of this human-divine unity in the life of Jesus. The goal in human evolution is for us to attain a human-divine consciousness, which can overcome the limitations of the body, walk on water if we choose, or even live-forever on this planet as a human if we choose to. We are powerful spiritual beings with a oneness of the Whole and the wholeness of the One. On a higher level, we are gods just as Jesus said. This is another way of saying we are “godlings” or “children.” We are growing up to be like our Parents. The core of our being, our spirit, is perfect love and perfect “God consciousness.” We travel this River of Life to bring the “kingdom of God” to this world.

You have all knowledge

Within this realm of spirit exists the presence of God, the Father, and Christ, and a host of innumerable angels and spirits of just men made perfect (Hebrews 12).  As well, within this realm of spirit was all knowledge?

And knowledge – all knowledge – exists almost in a state of fluidity, in the spirit realm.  Available to all, however, few really access it.

Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness…2Pe 1:3

When the Lord spoke that, He gave us all things pertaining to life and godliness; there was a hitch, they exist and have their reality in the spirit; and must be appropriated or “drawn down” by Children.  Yes we have all things.  Yes we are rich.  Yes, we have all knowledge.  But it must be taken.  It must be appropriated.  This means, you need to know that it is here, and that you can do this.

Let’s look for a moment at a couple of scriptures…

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. John 14:26

As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him. 1Jn 2:27

None of you really has need for a teacher, for in truth; this knowledge is at your disposal, if you only realized it.

The Word says….you have not because you ask amiss, or ask not; ask that your joy may be made full.  (James 4:2) (Jn 16:24)

The problem is we have not known how to ask, and we have not known what to ask.  That is why we wait upon the Lord that is why we travail and are driven to stay in His presence.

And what’s more; knowledge is being released, as we speak, into the spirit realm; knowledge which becomes available for the taking.

“And those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.  But as for you,

Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”
Dan 12:3-4

Knowledge is increasing.  We are in a heightened time of release.  You could call it an outpouring of His spirit, of His presence, and of His knowledge…..knowledge Of the Lord …. That will literally fill all the earth.

(One side note addendum….when the word speaks of many shall go back and forth…it has been vertically interpreted as an acceleration of travel on the physical plane, indicative of the time we walk – but there is a higher meaning….  It really speaks of an access and flow between dimensions, or if you prefer, through the veil.  This is what is unfolding, this is really what Daniel 12 refers to).

As the words of spirit continue to come forth, more and more knowledge is being released and being made available to the sons.  You may find inspiration coming to you, dreams in the night, or impressions, unaware perhaps that their origins are emanating from this release in the spirit of a flow of knowledge to God’s people, because the time is now for all to be in the flow.

David Goines’ NDE:  Humans have a mental and spirit body. Before going through the veil, we chose our own physical body. We must forget these memories because in order to experience a physical life, we must experience the physical things, be physically challenged, make choices of free will, and make mistakes so that we can learn from them in ways that only a physical life could impart.

If we retained all of our prior knowledge, we might not bother to experience the physical life for its fulfillment – we might decide to skip the pain and thus miss the pleasure. We promised God that upon accepting the opportunity, challenges and responsibility of a physical life, we would make the most of this opportunity for ourselves and God, return to God with the knowledge and experience gained so that God will be enhanced by our experience.

The reason we need to experience a separation of our total reality when we took on a physical body is because in order for us to appreciate, benefit, and learn all we can from our physical life, we must re-discover what we knew before – in physical ways.

Through our physical life we must discover how to return to God. By the good that we do to each other here, by the ways we improve our minds, and by the ways that we learn to cope with a physical body and physical life, we earn our right of safe passage back to God; and in doing so we honor God. It is God’s love that sends us on the journey and it is our love for God that will allow us to return to God’s loving arms. (David Goines)

HOW TO GET GOD TO ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS (PART 4 of 4)

Elijah Resuscitating the Son of the Widow of Z...

Elijah Resuscitating the Son of the Widow of Zarephath

HOW TO GET GOD TO ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS (PART 4 of 4)

IT PAYS TO OBEY GOD (1 King 17:1-24 Message)

In the following text, Elijah teaches us what it means to get your prayers answered by God.  Elijah was one of God’s Prophets.  He was an upright and righteous man and as such, he was God’s mouthpiece.  He was fearlessly and cried out against idolatry, immorality, and all other forms of iniquity.  He urged the people to repent and return to the Lord, and then warned of dire consequences if they failed to do so.

Elijah was God’s chosen instrument to bring adulterous and haughty Israel to her knees.  His prayers could bring down blessing (rain) or wrath (drought and fire).  God chose to use a severe drought to get the people’s attention.  They did not care that idolatry had brought a spiritual drought upon the land, but they could not ignore the physical drought that typified it.

In obedience to the Lord, Elijah went from Samaria to the Brook Cherith, east of the Jordan.  There he was sustained by water from the brook and by food, which was miraculously brought to him morning and evening by ravens.  After a while, however, due to the drought the book dried up.

1 And then this happened: Elijah the Tishbite, from among the settlers of Gilead, confronted Ahab: “As surely as God lives, the God of Israel before whom I stand in obedient service, the next years are going to see a total drought—not a drop of dew or rain unless I say otherwise.”

2-4 God then told Elijah, “Get out of here, and fast. Head east and hide out at the Kerith Ravine on the other side of the Jordan River. You can drink fresh water from the brook; I’ve ordered the ravens to feed you.”

5-6 Elijah obeyed God’s orders. He went and camped in the Kerith canyon on the other side of the Jordan. And sure enough, ravens brought him his meals, both breakfast and supper, and he drank from the brook.

7-9 Eventually the brook dried up because of the drought. Then God spoke to him: “Get up and go to Zarephath in Sidon and live there. I’ve instructed a woman who lives there, a widow, to feed you.”

10-11 So he got up and went to Zarephath. As he came to the entrance of the village he met a woman, a widow, gathering firewood. He asked her, “Please, would you bring me a little water in a jug? I need a drink.” As she went to get it, he called out, “And while you’re at it, would you bring me something to eat?”

12 She said, “I swear, as surely as your God lives, I don’t have so much as a biscuit. I have a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a bottle; you found me scratching together just enough firewood to make a last meal for my son and me. After we eat it, we’ll die.”

13-14 Elijah said to her, “Don’t worry about a thing. Go ahead and do what you’ve said. But first make a small biscuit for me and bring it back here. Then go ahead and make a meal from what’s left for you and your son. This is the word of the God of Israel: ‘The jar of flour will not run out and the bottle of oil will not become empty before God sends rain on the land and ends this drought.’”

15-16 And she went right off and did it, did just as Elijah asked. And it turned out as he said—daily food for her and her family. The jar of meal didn’t run out and the bottle of oil didn’t become empty:God’s promise fulfilled to the letter, exactly as Elijah had delivered it!

17 Later on the woman’s son became sick. The sickness took a turn for the worse—and then he stopped breathing.

18 The woman said to Elijah, “Why did you ever show up here in the first place—a holy man barging in, exposing my sins, and killing my son?”

19-20 Elijah said, “Hand me your son.”

He then took him from her bosom, carried him up to the loft where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. Then he prayed, “O God, my God, why have you brought this terrible thing on this widow who has opened her home to me? Why have you killed her son?”

21-23 Three times he stretched himself out full-length on the boy, praying with all his might, “God, my God, put breath back into this boy’s body!” God listened to Elijah’s prayer and put breath back into his body—he was alive! Elijah picked the boy up, carried him downstairs from the loft, and gave him to his mother. “Here’s your son,” said Elijah, “alive!”

24 The woman said to Elijah, “I see it all now—you are a holy man. When you speak, God speaks—a true word!”

CHOOSE WELL YOUR WORDS

Abraham Lincoln, the sixteenth President of th...

ABRAHAM LINCOLN THE 16th PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

The dictionary is full of words.  It is how words are used that makes the big difference.  Words can lift us into heaven or lower us into hell…  “Good words anoint a man, ill words kill a man,” wrote John Florio.

Words sung in a lullaby can put a babe to sleep; words of hatred and passion can arouse a mob to violence.

Words have both the explosive power of a nuclear bomb and the soothing effect of oil on troubled waters.  They can start a war or they can keep the peace.

Your knowledge of words is to use them creatively; to select and arrange them to inspire the mind, stir the heart, lift the spirit…

Words of encouragement fan the spark of genius into the flame of achievement.  Legend tells us that Lincoln’s dying mother called her small son to her bedside and whispered, “Be somebody, Abe!”

Words are magnets that draw back to us the thoughts they express.  “Beware, beware!” warned the Hindu mystic.  “What goes forth from you will come back to you.”

Words are the pegs on which we hang creative ideas.  We must put our dreams into eloquent words that others may be persuaded to help us build them into realities.  This proverb of Solomon says it well:  “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.”

Words of faith, hope and courage lift men upward.  Negative words drag men downward.  “Nerve us up with incessant affirmatives,” counseled Emerson; “don’t waste yourself in rejection, nor bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good.  When that is spoken which has a right to be spoken, the chatter and the criticism will stop.”

Words are symbols of man’s finest qualities.  Words such as valiant, radiant, triumphant, vibrant, heroic… These are words to live by!

Words are a dynamic force for changing men and nations.  Words of power burst in man’s mind with a great light, to illuminate his thoughts and show him the way.

Choose well your words!  They will go marching down the years in the lives you touch!

UNDERSTANDING THE TRUTH OF GOD’S REASONING

Plato's idea of perception

PLATO'S IDEA OF PERCEPTION (UNDERSTANDING IS YOUR KEY)

UNDERSTANDING THE TRUTH OF GOD’S REASONING

Sometimes in our lives, we find it difficult to except the truth of reasoning, even though it is staring us right in the face.  We make up all sorts of excuses to say the reality of a thing is not reality only because we lack the knowledge and understanding.  However, God has created all things perfectly by His own reasoning and in His own time.  Therefore, who are we to question what is, is?  God commands us to remove all doubt from our minds, and understand the things of the universe, and then perhaps we can develop the wisdom and knowledge to discern why the reality of God’s reasoning is what it is. Now listen to what the Bible tells us to do, it says, “Get skillful and godly Wisdomget understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation); do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth.” (Proverbs 4:4-6 AMP)

Now when you take the time to get a clear understanding of a thing, it will bring you face to face with truth.  The Bible says’ in John 8:32, know the truth and the truth will set you free.  Now free your mind and allow the truth of this teaching to empower you with the knowledge that can lift you up on the wings of an eagle and allow you to see clearly, the awesome power of God by showing you the real power of faith and reasoning.

Some of us have the idea that faith and reasoning are in conflict with each other. They think that if you have reason, you do not need faith, and if you go by faith, you cannot go by reasoning. This paradox has caused the biggest problems in all religion and spirituality. The truth is that faith and reason are the same. In order to have faith about something, you need to know it as true. You cannot know something as true unless you have a reason for it to be so. Faith is reason and reason is faith.

All truths are ideas. If you knew everything there is to know about an idea, you would no longer need to “have faith” in it. You just know it as reality. Faith knows. To know a thing is to be aware of it. It is all about awareness, the more you have it, the more faith you have. If you want to know something, you have to understand everything there is to understand about it. You have to be able to explain everything about it. The more reasons you discover, the more truth you realize.

The way to truth is the way of understanding. Understanding alone will solve all our problems. Understanding the problem dissolves the problem. Once we understand a problem, it is no longer a problem. All that is left is to act out the solution. A problem is never without a solution; otherwise, it would not be a problem.

Therefore, all problems have their corresponding solutions. Understanding is the key to resolving everything. To understand is to reason. You have to reason all the way to all truth.

Everything in the universe is consciousness. For something to be realized, it has to be perceived. Until we are able to perceive a thing, it is not real to us. It would be real to the one who perceives it. The more we are able to perceive, the more conscious we become. Consciousness is what we are, and the more we expand our consciousness with perception, the more we expand our being. The more our awareness increases, the greater our reality will be until it matches the reality of the whole.

Understanding brings life to those that have it. When you deal with things from a state of awareness, you become a cause because you act with freewill. When you deal with things from a state of ignorance, you become an effect because you act with unconscious choice.

Awareness allows your mind to be calm. Then you are free to choose reality, whereas ignorance causes you to be unstable and moved by impulses. He that deviates out of the way of understanding ends up in the congregation of the dead.

The subconscious mind does not differentiate between an imagined experience and a physically experienced one. To know something is to have an experience of it. The more you experience something whether physically or mentally, the more you know it in consciousness. You can always experience a thing from a place of awareness or a place of ignorance. Learning with awareness brings enjoyment and freedom whereas learning with ignorance brings pain and suffering. The difference between learning with awareness and learning with ignorance depends on the intent.

When you go through every experience with the intent to understand, you are resonating with awareness and your consciousness will be open to perceiving as much as you can about it. When you seek to understand, you can arrive at the right reasons, or else you would reason wrongly from lower consciousness and mishandle the situation because you are not seeing what is out of your perception.

Incline your ear unto understanding. Seek to know the reason of a thing. Seek to know all the reasons there are to know about it. Open your heart to be understanding so that you may receive the truth of a matter and not block it out of perception. You need understanding in order to do what is right.

Understanding gives us strength because it makes us bigger than our situations. Knowing all the explanations and reasons of a thing allows you to see it in a scientific and definite way. Faith is having certainty.

Evolution of science, knowledge and consciousness is evolution of faith.

When you know everything from a position of science, there are no more doubts, because now, everything is understood through the universal laws that never change. You know absolute reality to the fullest degree. In any situation where total understanding appears to be unattainable in a scientific way, it means the science is incomplete.

True science is perfect in reasoning and operates from a position of total perception. Total faith and total science are the same. It is all awareness of truth.

Faith comes by hearing which means perception, and perception by the Word of God. The Word is Logos, which means Reason. Reason or awareness directs your perception and determines your knowing.

To know as much of the Word of God is to know as much reason as possible. All wisdom, understanding and knowledge are for you to be convinced about the truth because you are aware of all the reasons that define it. To have absolute faith is to be totally convinced about the truth.

Reason or logic is what runs the entire universe. You need as much reasons as possible to do well.  Reason is what causes others to act and it determines how they act. The programming logic runs the program. If you want to move yourself or others to take a certain action, give as much reason as possible whether logical or emotional, conscious or subtle to persuade, direct and motivate them. Reason can command an entire army to war or it can compel all nations to peace and harmony.

God himself has perfect reasoning and total understanding of all there is. When we are lacking awareness about something but are clearly guided by him in a certain area, that is when we should trust in God with all our heart and not lean towards our limited understanding. God’s reason is the higher reasoning compared to ours. To reason against reason is treason. However, God still wants us to grow in awareness and understanding so that we may reach his level of reasoning and be of one mind with him.

LEADERSHIP FAITH AND FORGIVENESS GOES HAND IN HAND

LEADERSHIP FAITH AND FORGIVENESS GOES HAND IN HAND

Leaders are trained equipped and prepared to lead at all times. Jesus was a real leader, and he demonstrated his ability to lead in everything that he did. Jesus never hesitated to tell his followers that he wanted all or nothing. If indeed, Jesus said that their love for him needed to be so great that all other human relationships would be pale by comparison. While only Jesus qualifies for that kind of devotion, we can learn from Jesus that skilled leaders do not blank when urging others to count the costs. They know that no follower who has a halfhearted commitment will ever become a leader. Jesus demonstrated his ability to lead despite the strong opposition against him, that we too can do the same if we follow in Jesus footsteps.

Jesus also made it clear that a conflict should be handled personally, privately and with a forgiving spirit.  The disciples thought that such an act of forgiveness would require an added measure of faith, but Jesus taught them that they needed only to use the faith they already processed. Even a little faith in God would unleash enough power to uproot a tree. God has the power to uproot anger and bitterness.  He says, “Pay attention and always be on your guard [looking out for one another]. So if your brother sins (misses the mark), solemnly tell him so and reprove him, and if he repents (feels sorry for having sinned), forgive him.  And even if he sin against you seven times in a day, and turns to you seven times and says, I repent [I am sorry], you must forgive him (give up resentment and consider the offense as recalled and annulled).” (Luke 17:3-4 AMP)

Careful leadership is important for Jesus followers, but so is constant forgiveness. When there is sin among God’s people, they are responsible to rebuke one another. To “rebuke” does not mean to point out every sin, for Jesus also warns against being judgmental. To “rebuke” (always in love) means to bring sin to a person’s attention with the purpose of restoring that person to God and to fellow humans. In context here, and this refers to sin that could put that person or others away from God, and thus result in the horrible judgment Jesus spoke of in Luke 17:2. When a person feels that he are she must rebuke another Christian for a sin, it is wise for that person to check his or her attitudes and motivations first. Unless rebuke is tied to forgiveness, it will not help the sinning person.  Jesus explained, in fact, that if the other person repents, the rebuker must forgive. And that forgiveness extends constantly.

The disciples told Jesus, “We need more faith.” Jesus did not directly answer the question because the amount of faith is not as important as its genuineness. What is faith? It is dependence on God and a willingness to do his will.  “And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you.”  (Luke 17:6 AMP).

A mustard seed is small, but it is alive and growing. Like a tiny seed, a small amount of genuine faith in God will take root and grow. The apostle did not need more faith; a tiny seed of faith would be enough, if it were alive and growing.

Jesus pointed to a nearby mulberry tree and said that even small faith could uproot it and send it into a sea. Mulberry trees grow quite large as high as 35 feet. Matthew’s gospel records a similar teaching when Jesus said that a mountain could be told to throw itself into the sea. It is the power of God, not faith, that uproots trees and mountains, but faith must be present for God to work. Even a small seed of faith is sufficient. There is great power in even a little faith when God is there.

Now here is how faith is described in Hebrews, “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, [a]the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” (Hebrew 11:1AMP)

Those who do not have faith cannot see pass the physical world around them. They are limited by their said temporal circumstances and are blind to what God is doing. Nevertheless, those who open their spiritual eyes can see the spiritual realities, which transcend this world. There hope is in God’s strength and in his faithfulness. In that hope, they find the strength to endure. When it comes to faith, the world scoffs. Faith, at best, seems like a great waste; at worst, it seems almost suicidal. Do we really want to give up the pleasure to have this world for something elusive and ethereal?

Faith is never easy. However, the more convinced we are of the reality of an all-good, all-powerful God, the more I have trust will grow, and the less we will be overwhelmed, by doubts and temptations.
