Saturday Morning Devotional Prayer and Praise Service (Praying for World Peace)

PRAYING FOR WORLD PEACE

Today, let us focus our attention on peace in the world.  The world finds itself at a cross roads standing at the edge of war and peace.  Our challenge as believers is to be PEACE MAKERS, and we can do this right now through our prayers. Let us pray today for WORLD PEACE…

My Dear Brothers and Sisters, we know that Jesus laid down His life to make peace between God and the sinners of the world.  For we all have sinned and fallen short of the Lord’s glory, but we have been redeemed by His grace.  Now He has given us the opportunity to carry into the world His message of peace to others who would rather have war than peace, for we are truly God’s peacemakers, let us begin to act accordingly for God delights in those who reconcile others to Himself.

Blessed are the PEACE MAKERS for they shall be called the children of God. (Matthew 5:9)  Those who give of themselves as Jesus did in order that others may know God are called “BLESSED.”  For there is no real peace apart from a relationship with God (Romans 5:1).  What may masquerade as worldly peace is merely a temporary lull in chaos (John 14:27).  True peace is found only in a restore relationship with God.  “There is no peace, says the LORD, for the wicked (Isaiah 48:22)

Since we are children of God, we have the opportunity to change the world by coming together and PRAYING FOR PEACE IN THE WORLD.

For I know that WORLD PEACE is possible, and I also know that we can make a difference through our prayers, and I can testify that I have personally seen supernatural things happen when believers pray and ask God to bring about a change in the present situation.

LET US PRAY

Experience the powers in God’s Amazing Grace (Part 1 of 3)

WHERE WOULD WE BE TODAY WITHOUT GOD’S AMAZING GRACE?

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE (Photo by Pastor Davis)

EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF GOD’S AMAZING GRACE (Photo by Pastor Davis)

As we go through life day by day, trying to understand our amazing lives, our purpose for being here which includes our destination, and how we are able to travel towards that goal we have set for ourselves, although we stumble and fall, we soon discover that we all have a story to tell.

Our stories on the surface may seem to be different, but when we look deeply at where we are and how we got to where we are, the story lines begin to merge and we all begin to repeat the same line we “are saved” by “grace.”  It was nothing but God’s amazing grace that brought me through the darkness of this wilderness and into His marvelous lightGrace is God’s unmerited favor. It is kindness from God we don’t deserve. There is nothing we have done, nor can ever do to earn this favor. It is a true spiritual gift from God. Grace is divine assistance given to us humans for our regeneration (rebirth) or sanctification; a virtue coming from God; a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine favor.

I have come to see the doctrine of the God’s Amazing Grace  as one of the dominant themes of the Bible. In musical terms, God’s Amazing Grace is like the melody line of a beautiful song, and the greatest song of all that comes to my mind is, “Amazing Grace.”  As a rule, only one note carries the melody, and all of the other notes serve to compliment that note with a harmony. I believe that grace is the dominant note in God’s dealings with man. His justice, His holiness, His omnipotence, and His omniscience are all an integral part of the music of His character and activities, but grace stands apart and above them all.

Now pause with me for a moment and let us listen to one of my favorite songs that really tell the true story of God’s redeeming quality for all of us who have accepted Jesus, as our Lord and savior, and then we will continue this discussion on the other side of this beautiful melody.

When I look back over my life, I know that it was nothing but God’s amazing grace that brought me through my trials and tribulations, and I am certain you will say the same.  This amazing grace comes only from the Lord and is simply the God-given desire and the power to do God’s will.

Thank you for reading and studying with us this day. I pray this lesson has been a blessing to your soul. If it has please share it with your friends and followers that they too may receive and experience the Lord’s amazing grace as well.

Part two of the Lord’s Amazing Grace Story will continue on Thursday of this week and part three will follow on Friday.  Please come back everyday and study with us, we teach seven days a week.  When you bless another, the Lord will fill your life with abundance of blessings because you took the time to bless someone else.  Thank you my friends, we love you and we appreciate you…

Saturday Morning Devotional Service Prayer and Praise (Pray and Believe)

Trust God (Photo by Pastor Davis)

PRAY AND BELIEVE

Today is the first day of the rest of your life, so why not pause your busy body and mind, you’re going and coming; go into your prayer closet and pour your heart out before God as you consider your life and where you are in it this day.  God is in the prayer answering business and He wants to answer your prayers and show you how you can live a joyful, peaceful life, and prosper in all you do. Do you Believe?

PRAY AND BELIEVE

Three of the most powerful words in Scripture can be found in Matthew 7:7. They are ASK, SEEK and KNOCK.  Do you Believe?

The Bible teaches us that what ever we ASK God for in order for us to receive it we first must believe in order to receive.  Do you Believe?

Here we have an invitation to ask God in prayer for the desires of our heart, to ask and keep on asking, to seek and keep on seeking, to knock and keep on knocking.  Do you Believe?

Know this that wisdom and power for the Christian life will be given to all who earnestly and persistently seek and pray for it. Do you Believe?

Now with our wisdom and understanding, let us lift God up in our Prayers, praises and worship. Let us be persistent in all that we do in the name of His son Jesus.

LET US PRAY:

Now let us all be on one accord as we lift up the Lord in Holy praises…

Oh Lord, my God I bless your Holy name this day, I lift you up in prayer, praise and worship for you are worthy to be praised.  Thank you Lord for the blessings of your Children that have entered into your house of prayer, joined together as one people, for one common purpose to honor you and do your will.

TIME FOR ALTER CALL:

If there is anyone who have not received the saving grace of our Lord and Savior we encourage you to click on this short video clip and pray this prayer with us right now…

We thank each one of you who have taken the time to enter into our virtual house of prayer and praise service this day.  We bless this message to you and pray that you will take it and bless someone else.

Now may the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rest and abide within each one of you as you enter into the next dimension  of your life, in Jesus name we pray, Amen!

There is power in the Word of God

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO STAND FIRM WITH POWER?

THE POWER OF GOD'S GRACE STANDS FIRM WITH ALL HIS CHILDREN (PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

This question may seem strange to some; Do You Have What it takes to Stand Firm with Power? In all actuality it is a defining question if your goal is to live out your created purpose. The Christian journey is an opportunity to share life’s teachings, so don’t waste time needlessly because your journey is God given, your destination is where you’ll spend eternity.

When you make the decision to follow Jesus your life takes on a different meaning, there will be life changes that often seem unbearable, you lose many “friends” and often members of your own family may withdraw because they have not yet been able to grasp the entire picture.

A servant, a follower of Jesus can expect hard times, tough times, hard work and dedication, but learn to take it all in joy knowing the purpose of their calling.  The servant or follower is encouraged to reach out to the lost and those seeking to know more about this wonderful relationship so graciously offered.

Remember the Great Commission as Jesus instructed: “Go into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) We are to familiarize ourselves with this thought; “to every creature” so that everyone may know their freedom has been brought and paid for in full by a resurrected Savior.

Once you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit the question, Do You Have What it takes to Stand Firm with Power should become a part of who you are in Christ.  Remember when Jesus called the Twelve together, how he gave them power and authority and to proclaim the kingdom of God? (Luke 9:1-7 NIV) that same power lives today in true believers because it is God given.

In order to work under the anointing of the Holy Spirit your character must be that of clear thinking, gentleness, holiness, and honest love. We are called to work, as believers we become one body in Christ and all power was given to Jesus by God for Jesus so stated: “His Father have given him power over all flesh “(John 17:2) through his sacrifice we are able to share in that gift. Through him we are encouraged to use our gifts as instruments of peace sharing his gospel with others. Do you have what it takes to stand firm with power?

Stand Firm

Stand Firm (Photo credit: WELS.net)

For we are many members in one body, and all members have not the same office (Romans 12:4), knowing this gives each of us the opportunity to develop and enhance whatever that gift is to draw the lost, it may be a gift of  prophecy, ministry, or  teaching, whatever your calling is prepare your hearts and spirit for opposition. Always remember God has created and assigned you with purpose; therefore, as long as you’re in Christ Jesus nothing or no one can tear you down, but the attempt will be made. In your weakest moments, trials and struggles, do you have what it takes to stand firm with power?

Jesus is your Master, salvation comes through him, in obedience and faith embrace his teachings, follow his pattern for life and you’ll never regret one moment because your destination is not earthly but heavenly (eternal). Dedicate your entire being before God, and watch how he changes you from inside out, how he is able to bring the very best in you to the surface. Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18),  when you’re confronted with discouragement and find yourself wondering, do you have what it takes to stand firm with power, you’ll know the answer at the appointed time.

Today My Brothers and Sisters, I thank God for each of you who take the time to visit with us, read and study and share the important lessons with your followers, families and friends. May the Lord bless you and your ministries abundantly in Jesus name, Amen!

Wednesday Inspirational and Motivational Service (Possibility Thinker)

POWER IN THE POSSIBILITY THINKER

DO YOU BELIEVE?

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,  for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.  And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.  But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.  For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;  he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (James 1:2-8 ESV)

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (God will never give up on you)

BE ENCOURAGED GOD WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON YOU

REFLECTING POOL (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

REFLECTING POOL (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

Below is a letter sent from Paul an Apostle of Jesus Christ to believers everywhere?  It is a letter of encouragement with a promise from God just to remind us in case we forget just how much God really loves us and that he will never give up on us.  This is truly a great reminder of just how much God loves all of His Children, and this is one fact we should never ever forget. Now listen to what Paul tells us:

He says, “I send this letter to you in God’s church at Corinth; believers cleaned up by Jesus and set apart for a God-filled life. I include in my greeting all who call out to Jesus, wherever they live. He’s their Master as well as ours!”

May all the gifts and benefits that come from God our Father, and the Master, Jesus Christ, be yours;

Every time I think of you—and I think of you often!—I thank God for your lives of free and open access to God, given by Jesus. There’s no end to what has happened in you—it’s beyond speech, beyond knowledge. The evidence of Christ has been clearly verified in your lives.

Just think—you don’t need a thing, you’ve got it all! All God’s gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that.  (1 Corinthian 1:1-9 MSG)

Therefore, Children of God, let me Encourage you today, to stand still, look towards the hills from which all your blessings are flowing, calm your mind, allow Jesus to open your spiritual eyes that you may see His blessings flowing all around you. Allow Him to open your spiritual ears that you may here Jesus voice speak to you as he says these words, “MY DEAR CHILDREN, BE ENCOURAGED, GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU ARE FORSAKE YOU!
