Blessed is the man

Saturday Morning Devotional Service

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

Blessed is the man[a]
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law[b] of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree
    planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
    nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish. (Psalms 1 ESV)

Be encouraged and live this day in perfect peace

Be encouraged and live this day in perfect peace

Good Morning my Dear Brothers and Sisters, as we are begin our journey this day moving swiftly towards our predetermined destination, I set forth a word of Encouragement to help pave the way in order that your journey will be smooth and peaceful.  I encourage you to use what I speak to you this morning and the word that is written here as it was spoken by the Lord as a tool to help you, and keep the devil away from you.

Let me set this before you as plainly as I can. If a person climbs over or through the fence of a sheep pen instead of going through the gate, you know he’s up to no good—a sheep rustler! The shepherd walks right up to the gate. The gatekeeper opens the gate to him and the sheep recognize his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he gets them all out, he leads them and they follow because they are familiar with his voice. They won’t follow a stranger’s voice but will scatter because they aren’t used to the sound of it.”

6-10 Jesus told this simple story, but they had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. “I’ll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of. (John 10:1-10 MSG)

Remember my brothers and sisters, in all you’re getting this week, first get Understanding and Be Encouraged, as you walk out your purpose you will learn to live in perfect peace because that is what the Lord has blessed for you this day on your journey.

CHILDREN OF GOD, it is truly the SEASON to be filled with joy, for the Lord our God has bestowed upon each one of us many great and wonderful BLESSINGS throughout this year.  As the year begin to come to a close and the birth of our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST, is near, the Spirit of the Lord prompted me to remind each of you just how BLESSED you readily are because He spoke these words as a reminder from HIS SERMON ON THE MOUNT.

When Jesus saw his ministry drawing huge crowds, he climbed a hillside. Those who were apprenticed to him, the committed, climbed with him. Arriving at a quiet place, he sat down and taught his climbing companions. This is what he said:

“You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule.

“You’re blessed when you feel you’ve lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you.

“You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought.

“You’re blessed when you’ve worked up a good appetite for God. He’s food and drink in the best meal you’ll ever eat.

“You’re blessed when you care. At the moment of being ‘care-full,’ you find yourselves cared for.

“You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.

“You’re blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That’s when you discover who you really are, and your place in God’s family.

“You’re blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God’s kingdom.

“Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble. (Matthew 5:1-12 MSG)

Brothers and Sisters, the Lord has spoken these words to you.  I ENCOURAGE you to stay focus and keep your eye on the prize during this CHRISTMAS SEASON.  Never forget that JESUS is the reason for the SEASON.

Most Holy God, our Heavenly Father, we have truly been blessed to see and experience the dawn of a brand new day.  Time marches on and waits for no one.  For those of us who have received your supernatural blessings to be among the living and have the opportunity to serve a living God, we thank you and rejoice in this awesome opportunity to serve you and enjoy the great abundance of the fruit that you have provided for us on this Labor Day.  As families, friends and relatives gather together to partake of the physical foods and enjoy the fellowship they will experience with one another, we pray for the safety and sanctity of each life and that the indwelling Holy Spirit will move in a powerful way to heal the sick and afflicted, bound up the wombs of the broken hearts,  lift the Spirits of those who are in need of encouraging, put joy in the hearts of those who are grieving, put a smile on the face of those who are frowning,  recreate a brand new spirit in the hearts of those who are harboring evil and hate; for this is truly a day that you have created for change to take place as we gather together and celebrate the winding down of our summer vacations and now await for the fall to enter in.  Father we thank you for this blessing, we love you, we honor you, we lift you up in Holy Praises, and we give our all to you this day for you are truly worthy to be praised.  In Jesus name, we pray, AMEN!

Rise and Shine and let us all Praise God Together as one people, one nation living in the World under the law of one God.  When we do this our Blessings will flow to us like running water.  Today is the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King‘s Jr famous speech, “I HAVE A DREAM!”  It is a Dream that is still being realized as we awaken to the dawn of a brand new day.  The time is NOW for all God’s Children to

join hands and share in that DREAM as we RISE AND SHINE to the DAWN of a brand new day.

In the context of the above statement, there are some of you who might have the odyssey to ask the question, why?  Then I will respond in kind with these words, because your life today is a blessing to be cherished, although you might not see it this way.  However, just being alive is a humbling experience that most of us take for granted.  Nothing in this life is guaranteed, even our awaken this day.  Therefore, if we learn to look on our lives as a blessing and the opportunity to praise God for all he has done for us, then we should be able to shout Hallelujah, God is good, and I am going to praise him no matter how difficult things may seem at this moment in my life.  No one are no circumstances are beyond my ability to give God all my praises, for he has truly been good to me.

Now listen to how the Bible teaches us how we should praise God.  It says,“ Hallelujah! You, who serve God, praise God! Just to speak his name is praise! Just to remember God is a blessing— now and tomorrow and always.  From east to west, from dawn to dusk, keep lifting all your praises to God!

God is higher than anything and anyone, outshining everything you can see in the skies. Who can compare with God, our God, so majestically enthroned, Surveying his magnificent heavens and earth?  He picks up the poor from out of the dirt, rescues the wretched who’ve been thrown out with the trash, Seats them among the honored guests, a place of honor among the brightest and best.  He gives childless couples a family, gives them joy as the parents of childrenHallelujah(Psalm 113:1-9 MSG).

Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy house of worshippraise him under the open skies;
Praise him for his acts of powerpraise him for his magnificent greatness; Praise with a blast on the trumpetpraise by strumming soft stringsPraise him with castanets and dancepraise him with banjo and flutePraise him with cymbals and a big bass drumpraise him with fiddles and mandolin. Let every living, breathing creature praise GodHallelujah(Psalm 150 MSG).

Now if you are one of those people who are wondering why your life and the life of your family is in such poor condition, think on this message of praise, and if you are not giving God all your praises day by day then the answer should be quite simple, and the solution to being able to get God to bless your life and lift you up out of poverty is to begin praising God for whatsoever condition you might find yourself in.  Just open your mouth and praise him even if you are facing eviction from your home are apartment, no food to eat, no job to go to, your marriage are relationship has fallen apart, you have been stricken with a crippling decease, you ought to look towards heaven and say, thank you Jesus for this opportunity to praise you, because I know that the conditions that I find myself in today, shall be no more.  Thank you for allowing me to experience your marvelous light of this day.  From this moment forward, I am going to praise you, HALLELUJAH!

Today, heavenly father, I lift you up with all praises and thanksgiving as I give you all the glory for all that you have done in my life and the lives of the people that you have allowed the words of this ministry to touch throughout the world.  For you are God and there is no other greater than you. I thank you Father for the supernatural power that is working in the lives of your children throughout the world. In Jesus name we pray. Amen!  My brothers and sisters, I minister to you from a position of peace, power, purpose and prosperity.  I reamin your brother in CHRIST, PASTOR DAVIS/MASTER TEACHER!

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 ESV)  The time has come for you to stop worrying about what tomorrow will bring.  Learn to live in the moment for tomorrow is not promised, but the abundance of God’s mercy and grace is promised to those who have the patience to wait upon the Lord.

Day by day and moment by moment, we learn to wait with patience, trusting God to supply our every need, and when you trust Him, you do not worry about the lack that you seem to be experiencing in your life, because God is a God of great abundance.  He is the source of all things that are created in this earth, and when your mind is experiencing doubt, frustrations, envy, and all the other negative things that seem to be waiting you down, pause for a moment and simply say, “This too shall pass!”

Before going any further, click on this video by Sister Yolanda Adams and truly experience the beauty of the meaning of the words, “This too shall pass!”

You see, in this world because we live in the flesh, and our thoughts are in the flesh and centered upon the things and cares of the world, we will experience the pain and difficulties of the world.  Therefore, I say to you the same words that the Scriptures speak so plainly to me; “When you are burden and feeling low with nowhere to go, no friend to turn to, cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22 ESV)

Therefore, Children of God, we speak this simple truth to you, because it is commanded of you by the word of God and it says, “WAIT ON THE LORD YOUR DAY OF BLESSINGS HAVE ARRIVED!”  God’s blessings follow you and await you at every turn: when you don’t follow the advice of those who delight in wicked schemes, when you avoid sin’s highway, when judgment and sarcasm beckon you, but you refuse. For you, the Eternal’s Word is your happiness. It is your focus—from dusk to dawn. You are like a tree; planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun. No matter what you do, you prosper. (Psalm 1:1-3 The Voice)

Now we conclude this lesson with these final words, “WAIT ON THE LORD YOUR DAY OF BLESSINGS HAVE ARRIVED!”  The message is crystal clear, and God’s Blessings has your name on them.  The question then becomes, will you trust the Lord your God and Wait on Him to for fill His Promises?  Because this is what Jesus says to you as His final word for this powerful lesson today, He says, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”  (John 16:33 ESV)

May God bless you abundantly in every way.  For this is truly your day to prosper.  This lesson has been ministered to you from the position of Peace, Purpose, Power and Prosperity.

Today, as we begin studying this lesson pause your thoughts for a moment and think deeply on how blessed you are to be right where you are this moment in time. Now understand that all of our blessings are a gift from God, learning to recognize the vastness of his love and generosity enables us to find pleasure in praise and thanksgiving as we show gratitude and appreciation; each hurdle triumphed, is reason enough to be thankful, in so doing, WE SHOULD CONSIDER OURSELVES BLESSED AND FAVORED.

Jesus taught many principles about blessings and by following the pattern we are able to grasp the light that leads us form moments of darkness we sometimes face, to the brightness of his glory.

Jesus says, “You’re blessed when you’ve lost it all, God’s kingdom is there for the finding. You’re blessed when tears flow freely, (Matthew 5:3-12, MGS) joy comes in the morning. Every time someone cuts you down, smears and blackens your name,” count it all joy. Many sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ have been treated with acts of hate due to ignorance or lack of will on the part of others to understand the pattern, its true meaning. To those who are able to grasp the richness of it all, I can truly say, WE SHOULD CONSIDER OURSELVES BLESSED AND FAVORED.

Following the pattern is not without sacrifice in this earthly journey, trouble is all around and where-ever we find ourselves,  we must  remember to stay focused, keep our eyes on the prize, because we’re in a race for our very souls. If you are satisfied with yourself, without presence of the Holy Spirit in your life; your “self” will not satisfy you for long. Living for approval of others, doing what indulges them is as if you’re in a contest to win favor, remember our task is to be true, not popular. WE SHOULD CONSIDER OURSELVES BLESSED AND FAVORED, once we’ve made the choice and sacrifice to share in the “promise” which is available to all who are hungry, seeking truth and righteousness.

Sometimes we may find ourselves drifting like the wind, avoiding our true selves while the gentle voice of Jesus whispers, ‘come to me, surrender, give up the fight, lift your eyes toward the heavens my child, you are the love of my life,’ then WE SHOULD CONSIDER OURSELVES BLESSED AND FAVORED.

Stir up the gift of life that is within, and let go of theold order, disobedience, mistrust, spiritual disorder-malice, envy, hurtful talk/attitudes. Take hold of the new order, rebuild, renew, and respond to the offer of “Unconditional Love.”

Blessings are a Gift from God which should encourage each of us to allow the Spirit to be our guide wherein we become alert, alive, listening, agreeable, loveable, and humble, filled with compassion. We SHOULD CONSIDER OURSELVES BLESSED AND FAVORED.

When your faith kicks in and your mind has conceived these thoughts, then you will understand just how blessed and favored you really are at this moment in time. You come into the full knowledge and understanding, that it was nothing but Gods’ grace and mercy that has allowed you to be in this place at this very moment.
