Saturday Morning Devotional Prayer and Praise Service (Lifting up the Lord in Praise)

A TORCH OF HEAVEN

A TORCH TO HEAVEN

Since prayer is at the bottom of all this, what I want mostly is for men to pray—not shaking angry fists at enemies but raising holy hands to God. And I want women to get in there with the men in humility before God, not primping before a mirror or chasing the latest fashions but doing something beautiful for God and becoming beautiful doing it. (1TIMOTHY 2:8-10 MSG)

LET US PRAY:  Now click on our prayer and praise video and allow Pastor Davis to take us to the throne of God’s grace.

OUR SONG OF PRAISE:

My Brothers and Sisters what a week this has been, for some of us it has truly been a week of joy, praise and celebration, but for others it has been a week of struggles, sacrifices, doom and gloom.  No matter where you may fit into this equation, the one thing we can all do is lift up our Holy Hands, thank God, and praise Him for allowing us to be right where we are at this very moment.  For God is the same today, yesterday and He will be the same tomorrow.  He loves us and He wants us to share that same love and joy with each other.

Therefore, on this day let us take our praise to a new level of worshipping.

Join me in this song of High Praise to our Lord!

TODAY’S ALTER CALL:

If you are a person studying this lesson with us today and have not received the saving grace of the Lord and would like to join the Lord’s family of BELIEVERS and receive ETERNAL LIFE, we simply ask you to, “BELIEVE!”

Now repeat this short prayer with me:  “Lord I am a sinner, I have sinned against you, I BELIEVE that Jesus died for my sins, and on the third day you raised him from the grave and today He lives.  I ask you to forgive me of my sins, and come into my heart and cleanse me of my sins.  If you have prayed this prayer with me, you now are saved and have ETERNAL LIFE  in glory.”

We encourage you to find a local Bible Teaching Church and begin to study and fellowship with other believers.  You can also return back here daily and study God’s word with us.  We share the truth of the scriptures daily, and you will find over 1000 topics for study and discussions.  May the saving grace of our Lord and Savior be with you now and forever, in Jesus name, AMEN!

LET OUR PRAYERS ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER FOR THIS WEEK

“BE AND ENCOURAGER”

As we begin a brand new week, walking out our purpose in this life, let us learn how to use our prayer life to ENCOURAGE one another.  “We are truly our brothers and sisters keeper; therefore, we should be about God’s business in helping one another to move forward in this life as we all grow in His grace being an ENCOURAGER!

Listen to what Paul tells us concerning this matter, he says, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.  (Philippians 2:4 ESV).  As we read this, let us understand that we as believers should not be completely absorbed in his or her own affairs, but should also be interested in others, nothing their good points and qualities.  A sure cure for selfish ambition is appreciative recognition of others’ good qualities and their walk with the Lord.  It is easy to get caught up in competition, aggressive acquiring and vying for our own rights and needs.  But compared to knowing Christ, those interests seem shallow.  We need Christ’s attitude of self-sacrifice to look beyond ourselves to the needs of others.

LET US PRAY:  Eternal God, our Heavenly Father, we begin a brand new week in your presents seeking your blessings over our Nation, our leaders, our families, our friends and all those that you have brought forth into our lives as a blessings to our souls and the work we do. We move forward this day and this week thanking you Heavenly Father for the abundance of your love and prosperity that is flowing into our lives to meet the needs of all our brothers and sisters.  Let not our own selfish ambitions hinder us from reaching out to help others that are in need. Help us to shift our focus and our thinking from our worldly needs to the great abundance of all spiritual truths.  Let our prayer life be the focal point of lifting each other up in such a way that you may clean us up and use each one of us for the building of your Kingdom and the eternal salvation of all your children.  In Jesus name, we pray, Amen!  Now click on this video clip and listen for the voice of God speak to you.

AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL:

Let us salute our flag, as we lift up Holy Hands and give God all the praise for allowing us to have this glorious opportunity to live in the land of the free where we can worship and serve Him just because we love Him and He loves us.  Now let us send a blessing out to all the people of the world as we begin our Saturday Morning Devotional Prayer and Praise Service…

4th of july 02

TODAY IS YOUR DAY TO PRAISE GOD!

God’s Marvelous Light (Photo by Pastor Davis)

In the context of the above statement, there are some of you who might have the odyssey to ask the question, why?  Then I will respond in kind with these words, because your life today is a blessing to be cherished, although you might not see it this way.  However, just being alive is a humbling experience that too many of us take for granted.  Nothing in this life is guaranteed, even our awaken this day.

Therefore, if we learn to look on our lives as a blessing and the opportunity to praise God for all he has done for us, then we should be able to shout Hallelujah, God is good, and I am going to praise him no matter how difficult things may seem at this moment in my life.  No one are no circumstances are beyond my ability to give God all my praises, for he has truly been good to me.

Now listen to how the Bible teaches us how we should praise God.  It says,“ Hallelujah! You, who serve God, praise God! Just to speak his name is praise! Just to remember God is a blessing— now and tomorrow and always.  From east to west, from dawn to dusk, keep lifting all your praises to God!

God is higher than anything and anyone, outshining everything you can see in the skies. Who can compare with God, our God, so majestically enthroned, Surveying his magnificent heavens and earth?  He picks up the poor from out of the dirt, rescues the wretched who’ve been thrown out with the trash, Seats them among the honored guests, a place of honor among the brightest and best.  He gives childless couples a family, gives them joy as the parents of childrenHallelujah(Psalm 113:1-9 MSG).

Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy house of worshippraise him under the open skiesPraise him for his acts of powerpraise him for his magnificent greatness; Praise with a blast on the trumpetpraise by strumming soft stringsPraise him with castanets and dancepraise him with banjo and flutePraise him with cymbals and a big bass drumpraise him with fiddles and mandolin. Let every living, breathing creature praise GodHallelujah(Psalm 150 MSG).

MY MAXIMIZE PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY:

Today, heavenly father, we thank you for America, we thank you for its people and all the leaders that you have set in place. We seek your blessings over all it’s affairs that you will grant her peace and prosperity as she set her sails to lead and guide the world as a peaceful and loving nation.  In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

4th of july 01

HAPPY 4th OF JULY EVERYONE!

Saturday Morning Devotional Prayer and Praise Service (In God I Trust)

My Brothers and Sisters, we enter into the presence of the Lord to Worship Him and Serve Him.  Sometimes our hearts are troubled and we find it difficult to understand why we are having to face down our enemies day in and day out, week end and week out.  The stress upon our daily lives seems to be beating us down and sometimes we feel like we want to just give up and let the enemy have his way. But I tell you for a believer, this should never be an option.  You should always be able to find enough strength within your FAITH to lift up your head towards heaven and say, “IN GOD I TRUST!”

David faced a similar situation from his own countrymen, and he turned to the Lord in prayer for God’s gracious help in view of the constant harassment of his pursuers, and this is David’s prayer:

LET US PRAY THIS PRAYER WITH DAVID THIS MORNING:

Be gracious to me, O God, for man tramples on me;

Prayer and Obedience

Prayer and Obedience

all day long an attacker oppresses me;
my enemies trample on me all day long,
for many attack me proudly.
When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?

All day long they injure my cause;

all their thoughts are against me for evil.
They stir up strife, they lurk;
they watch my steps,
as they have waited for my life. AMEN! (Psalm 56:1-6 ESV)

LIFT THE LORD UP IN HIGH PRAISES:

JOYNow put your hands together and open your mouth wide and give the Lord a big shout out of hallelujah praises. When prayer and praises go up, faith breaks out all over the place.  David said, whenever I am afraid, “I will trust in you Lord.”  This cheerful courage is based on the character of God and on the faithfulness of His promises.  He is more powerful than all our foes combined, and He has promised to protect us from harm.  Nothing can penetrate the protective hedge which He sets up around us except by His permissive will.  This is why we can trust in God without a fear.

My Brothers and Sisters let us be bold in our praises before the Lord, for He is truly worthy.  What can mere man do to me, I ask you?  If I reason, I might answer, “Plenty.”  Man can persecute, injure, maim, shoot, and even kill me.  But the fact is that the child of God which I am, and you are, is immortal until his work is done.  Also we should understand David’s fearlessness in the light of our Savior’s words.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.  But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  (Matthew 10:28)

My Brothers and Sisters let this be a day of remembrances that the Lord is good all the time, and He will never fail you nor forsake you, therefore, when your enemies come upon you to do harm to you, STAND YOUR GROUND and say out loud, “IN GOD I TRUST!”

Trust in the Word of God

I WILL LIFT THE LORD UP IN HIGH PRAISES

GRACE EPISCOPAL CHURCH TRENTON, N.C. (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

Good morning children of God, and indeed what a great morning this really is. For the Lord our God has awaken us and provided us with a brand-new opportunity to lift him up in high praises. For this reason, we ought to lift up holy hands where ever we are and just begin to praise his holy name. For he is worthy to be praised and today’s Devotional Service is designed to concentrate our minds on praising the Lord, after a very long week of being in the secular world.  Now join with me and let us together focus our attention away from the world and upon God and the things of Heaven.

OUR SCRIPTURE READING IS PSALM 136 by Pastor Davis

Today my brothers and sisters, we are a blessed people. We are a free people we can lift up the name of Jesus, praise and worship him without fear of persecution, and when we do not take advantage of this blessed opportunity and shower him with praising and serving him in his holiness, we are cursing our blessing and we are not deserving of the Lords grace that he has showered upon us. Let us at this very moment, not cut off our blessing, but lift up the Lord our God in high praises and Thanksgiving.

VIRTUAL CHURCH IN THE CLOUDS (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

Good Morning Children of God, if it is Sunday, it is time to rise up, stand up, look around, lift your Holy Hands towards the Heavens, and say out loud, “Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus, you brought me through another difficult week, where I had to face many temptations, trials and tribulations.  I can truly say, I have come this far by faith, leaning and depending on you.  I know it was nothing but grace.  It was your grace that picked me up when I was falling down, stumbling all around, and could not find my way out of darkness.  Satan had come and stolen my joy, I had lost all hope of ever being able to turn my life around, but I kept hearing that voice saying, “You can make it, if you try.”  You can make it, I know you can!  I lifted my head up and looked all around, and said, “Thank you Jesus, I can do this!  This is a brand new day, and as far as me and my family is concern, we are going to serve you, praise you, and worship you Lord, praise you in every way, every day, with everything in my soul, I will praise you this day and for the rest of the days of my life. Because Praise is who I am, Praise is who we all are, we are your Children, and we have gather together to Praise and Worship you like no other time.  Thank you Jesus for allowing this Praise Service to begin…

HOW TO RECEIVE THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE

What must I do to be saved? This question was first asked by a jailer at Ephesus, who witnessed an earthquake that freed Paul and Silas. Paul and Silas were the Church’s first official evangelists, who had been falsely arrested and beaten and left in his charge. The earthquake came as the climax to a midnight prison cell prayer and praise meeting and it spurred the jailer to consider the condition of his soul.  What must I do to be saved, you asked?  If you truly want to be saved, listen to what the Lord says you must do, “you should first go to God in prayer.  When praying to Him you should tell Him you are sorry for the sinful things that you have done against Him and how you want to do the right thing from now on (1 John 1:9Acts 20:21). Next you should ask Him to forgive your sins through His death payment on the cross (Colossians 2:10-14). Last, make a commitment to God that you will wholly follow His commandments and believe on Him and His Word, with the help of His Holy Spirit (John 14:15).  Congratulations, you are SAVED (John 8:32)! You have become a new person, and you will be able to live a life that is pleasing to God (2 Corinthians 5:14-17 ). Now, God will come into your heart and live with you (Revelation 3:20). This is so you can be close to Him, receive His power, and understand His Word (1 John 3:16Acts1:8John14:26).

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY?

Thank you for your prayers and service to the Kingdom of God. Please return in a few hours as we will continue with our Sunday Prayer, Praise and Worship Service.  May God bless you abundantly as you go out into the world this day and serve.
