LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING

LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING:

Written by SHIRLEY RHODES:

Society has become a stage of life in which you are able to see how people are responding to one another through acts of hate, malice, war, and neglect, just to name a few. God gave each of us a life to live, yet many prefer to take the road of least resistance, ignoring many problems that can easily be corralled. LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING, provide hope for the dying world we wake up and embrace every day, it’s about mutual caring and sharing the message of hope found in Jesus. Peter shared his thoughts this way, “Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul” (1 Peter: 2:11; MGS).

Disobedience brings about many problems that can affect almost anything that surrounds you, that’s why is important to be attentive to what enters your space. You are no different than many who have gone on before you, even in the time of the Master Jesus himself. People often closed their ears to what he had to say, words that give a better quality of life, yet he never ceased to reach out, helping others to know the importance of LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING.

Scripture shares these words; “Now it came to pass…Jesus…departed from there to teach and preach in their cities” (Matthew 11:1; NKJV); “he rebuked the cities in which most of his mighty works had been done because they did not repent” (Matthew 11:20). He said, “Come to me all you who labor…I will give you rest. My yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11: 28-30) Jesus embraced, LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING by setting an example.

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble…May he grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose (Psalm 20:4-5).

SHARING THOUGHTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

SHARING THOUGHTS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

"JESUS IS THE LIGHT THAT NEVER DIMS" PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES

“JESUS IS THE LIGHT THAT NEVER DIMS” PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES

WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:

Allow words of the Psalmist to strengthen your heart:
I will bless the Lord who gives me counsel…
I have set the Lord always before me…
Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices… (Psalms 16:7-11)
You will show me the path of life…
Uphold my steps in your paths…
Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me under the shadow of your wings… (Psalm 17:5-8)

Fear: is quiet, it creeps in upon you and whispers in your ear; “You’re worthless,” “You don’t even try,” “Go ahead, give up, you’ll fail anyway.” But God does not see you in that way for the scripture reminds us this way, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind (2Timothy:1:7; NKJV).”

Fear can be paralyzing, fear of making mistakes keeps you stuck in the same place; be encouraged friends, it is okay to make a mistake, those very mistakes helps free you to keep trying, keep moving forward. What has happened too many of you is that you’ve lived in the shadow of fear for so long until you find yourselves with lack of vision for a different and better future. Why not step out in faith knowing that God has great plans for you?

When you see things in the natural, you fail to grasp Gods’ eternal perspective or plan for your life. Moments of darkness may seem endless, but it is laboring through the dark and lonely places you are able to see beyond self; therefore, continuing to move forward in your purpose for which you have been created. Ask God to show you the way, as the scriptures reminds us; “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

PRAYER: You may ask yourself, “How do I get through this when I see no way out?” Take a moment and reflect on the silence, focus your thoughts on the presence of God who lives in you and surrounds you with a great wall of protection, your barrier. Seek him in honest prayer, to do so, requires making commitment; pray without ceasing, your breakthrough lies within your next partition.
Jesus says when you pray “… go into your room…and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly…and in this manner, therefore pray:
Our Father in heaven, Hollowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever.
Amen.” (Matthew 6:6, 9-13; NKJV)

Blessing:
So if you are in search of your blessing you must take a step forward in order to initiate it. The process; Go to God in prayer, place the facts or situation in an organized manner at the feet of Jesus; ask in faith, believing that your request will be answered. Everything you seek in the name of Jesus is already arranged and planned by God, according to his purpose, but you must be open and centered to receive what is already yours, God never disappoints his children when they trust him, this is your season to be blessed and highly favored.

YOUR FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS

YOUR FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS

Because you have so little faith, Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20 NIV)

My brothers and sisters as you begin to step out on your faith, it is my prayer for each of you, and only God knows that I pray everyday for your success in what ever calling God has placed upon your life. May you receive his abundant grace and mercy that has been prescribed for you, in Jesus name, AMEN!

DO YOU HAVE THE FAITH TO STAND ON GOD’S PROMISES?

DO YOU HAVE THE FAITH TO STAND ON GOD’S PROMISES?

THE SPHERE OF THE OCEAN 001 (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

THE SPHERE OF THE OCEAN 001 (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

Is there any such thing as “a sure thing?” In this world nothing appears to be certain; many of us come to discouraged that our sense of being in control is only an illusion-we cannot control the outcome of even a single day. There is only One who exercises sovereign control over all, and if you have the faith of a grain of mustard seed, it is a promise that is made out to you on a blank check for you to fill in the details, take it to the bank and be guaranteed it will never bounce.

When God made his promise to Abraham, he backed it to the hilt, putting his own reputation on the line. He said, “I promise that I’ll bless you with everything I have—bless and bless and bless!” Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been promised to him. When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they’ll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable.

We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek. (Hebrews 6:13-20 MSG).

Now let me point out that this passage of text tells us that there are two reasons why God’s promises are certain: the “unchanging nature of his purpose” and the fact that he cannot break his covenant. Thus, the only stable and unqualified ground of hope is the immutable character of God and the promises that flow out of his character. Many people have an ill-defined or unbiblical hope; they look to the world and not to the Lord as the foundation of their security and confidence. Such people, whether sooner or later, find that their feet are standing on shifting sand.
Nevertheless, as inhabitants of this world, it takes real courage for us to risk everything on the promises of God. At least those who hope in the promises of the world have something tangible and visible to bolster their confidence. But those who hope in God’s promises are staking their lives on what is not seen and what is not yet. “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” This is why the Word directly links faith to hope: “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:11 NIV).

It takes no faith to believe that ten out of every ten people dies. In view of the certain brevity of our earthly journey, and in light of the strong evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, our hope and trust in him are not a leap in the dark, but a step into the light. Those who have taken this risk discover that this is the only firm and secure anchor for the soul.

Now I conclude this with the same question as the subject of this lesson, “DO YOU HAVE THE FAITH TO STAND ON GOD’S PROMISES?” Let me encourage you to think GLOBALLY and work LOCALLY.

BEGIN TO FOLLOW THE LORD’S PLANS

BEGIN TO FOLLOW THE LORD’S PLANS

FOLLOWING THE PLAN (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

FOLLOWING THE PLAN (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)

BEGIN TO FOLLOW THE LORD’S PLANS

My brothers and sisters, sometimes we feel that life has thrown us a curve ball and every time we swing at the ball we miss. So why are we feeling this way about life itself? We realize that things do not always go according to the way we plan them, and because of our plans we find ourselves getting further and further behind in our financial affairs, in our relationships, in obtaining that job promotion that we have been waiting on for so long, and even without with our spiritual walk with God because we don’t seem to have enough time to pray and study.

The further behind you get the more discourage you become. So what must you do to turn your life around? Let us look at the Scripture here in Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11. The Lord says, for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Now in our subject we said to you, “BEGIN TO FOLLOW THE LORD’S PLANS.” You see the problems that you have been experiencing in not being able to achieve success in your life has been because you were following your own plans instead of following the Lord’s plans. You were leaning and depending upon your own understanding instead of leaning and up depending upon the Lord.

The Lord has told you that he has plans to prosper you and not to harm you. The Lord never makes a promise that he does not keep. Not only did the Lord lay out specific plans for you he also laid out a specific time frame in which these plans would bear fruit. However, if you are not willing to follow the Lord’s plans you will always find yourself swing at curve balls and missing them. The Lord went one step further and said, he had plans to give you hope and a future. How much clear could this statement be for you? If you truly want to succeed in this season I suggest to you that you must, “BEGIN TO FOLLOW THE PLANS OF THE LORD!”

WHY ARE OUR CHURCHES SO DIVIDED ALONG RACIAL LINES?

WHY ARE OUR CHURCHES SO DIVIDED ALONG RACIAL LINES?

THE LORD'S HOUSE (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

THE LORD’S HOUSE (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

In the body of Christ we are all equal, yet you can walk into any church in America on any given Sunday morning and you will soon discover how deeply the racial divide in America really is, the one place it should not be. During the course of the week we work side-by-side, our children go to school together, we play and party together, we inter-racial marry and we even elected an African American president. Yet where it matters the most we are the most divided people along racial lines. So I ask the question once again, “why are our churches so divided along racial lines?”

When we really look at the racial division in America as well as in the world we soon discover that racial, ethnic, and social segregation are as old as society itself. Wherever people live, they form groups along these lines, and then they put up walls around them to keep others out.
In studying the book of Philippians, we quickly discovered that in the city of Philippi, it was a culturally diverse Roman city on the main highway from the Eastern Providences to Rome, and the church at Philippi had a diverse group of believers. The New Testament specifically mentions an Asian, a Greek, and a Roman.

On the surface, these people had little in common. One was a business woman who sold purple cloth to the rich; one was a slave girl who had been processed with a spirit of divination; the third was a jailer. Three different races, three different social ranks, and probably three different religious loyalties before encountering Christ: But Paul taught them that all were equal in the body of Christ; all were sinners saved by God’s grace. They were to humble themselves as Jesus had done, and be unified in the love of Christ.

In a world segregated along class and ethnic lines, the church at Philippi broke the rules: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:28). This church was one of the most integrated places in the Mediterranean world.
Now, this was more than 2000 years ago, and here it is 2000 years later and we seem to be going backwards instead of moving forward as believers in our faith and the teaching and example Paul was setting out for us in the church in Philippi.

In the body of Christ, we are all equal we are all sons and daughters of the King of the most high. Why are we not setting the example for the non-believers to follow? Jesus showed us the way; Paul gave us the example, is it not time for us to step out on faith and begin to move in a new direction by following the teachings of Jesus and the examples of Paul?

THE SUNRISE (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11 ESV)

When God gave these words to Jeremiah many generations ago, they were good for Jeremiah and his people then, and they are just as good for us to live by in this day and time. What we must learn to do is study God’s word, pray about the trials and tribulations we are experiencing, meditate on what God is teaching us, and seek God’s blessings over our lives and the lives of all of the people who God has placed in our presents.

For God truly does want to prosper us in all things. If he did not want to do so why did he promise us in this passage of Scripture that he had plans to prosper us and not to bring harm upon us?

My Brothers and Sisters, we will be teaching you the how’s and why’s of this lesson in our SUNDAY PRAYER, PRAISE AND WORSHIP SERVICE.

It is promised to be a powerful message that God has given to me to give to you. Therefore, I encourage each of you to tune in Sunday and receive your blessing that is going to help you to achieve your desired goals, your dreams and visions that God has given to you for your SEASON OF BLESSINGS.

EXPERIENCING HUMILITY AS A WAY OF LIFE

EXPERIENCING HUMILITY AS A WAY OF LIFE

THE TOWER OF STRENGTH (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

THE TOWER OF STRENGTH (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

The reward for HUMILITY and fear of the LORD is RICHES and HONOR and LIFE. (Proverbs 22:4 ESV) Now I ask you, how many of you do not want to experience these blessings in your life. God is teaching us how to live as that new person in this season and experience a true abundant lifestyle, BY LEARNING HOW TO EXPERIENCE HUMILITY AS A WAY OF LIFE!

In this, we are given a choice, we can befriend God are we can befriend the world. Some of us may say that we will befriend both God and the world, but in practice, we can only choose one way. The more we give ourselves to the world, the stronger will be our allegiance to the world. The more we give ourselves to God, the stronger will be our bond with him. This is what Jesus says, “Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be. (Matthew 6:21)

We have to remember, that we can find strength in the Lord, to live a humble lifestyle and receive all the lords abundant BLESSINGS. Although the world may consider us weak, when we show HUMILITY, this is because the world wants us to be filled with pride, and God sets himself against the proud, because pride makes us self-centered and leads us to conclude that we deserve all we can see, touch, or imagine. It creates greedy appetites far more than we need. Pride can subtly cause us to no longer see our sins or our need for forgiveness.

But remember this one great truth, HUMILITY opens the way for God’s grace to flow into our lives; thus, God shows favor to the HUMBLE.

Do not get so caught up in the ways of the world and the people that surrounds you, that you lose sight of who you are, who God is, who you are in God, that your heart becomes so hearten that you cannot HUMBLE yourselves in the presence of the Lord.

Understand this fact, “HUMILITY is not weakness; instead, it is the only place that believers gain courage to face all their temptations and sins with God’s strength.” As God gives us more grace, we realize that this world’s seductive attractions are only cheap substitutes for what God has to offer. It is our choice we can HUMBLE ourselves and receive God’s grace, or we can continue in our pride and self-sufficiency and experience his anger.

Now let me conclude this by leaving you with these two questions; (1). How do we, so prone to pride at the very moment when we think we might be approaching humility, discover true humility? (2). How do we become the kind of humble people who find the overflowing grace that God promises?

Well, listen to how Scripture teaches us to do it; “Let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.” (James 4:7-10 MSG)

May the grace of God fill your lives with His overflowing blessings, and bring you much joy and peace now and forever, in Jesus name, AMEN!

WHAT ARE YOU FEARFUL OF?

WHAT ARE YOU FEARFUL OF?

BELLAMY MANSION MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND DESIGN ARTS IN WILMINGTON, N.C. (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

BELLAMY MANSION MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND DESIGN ARTS IN WILMINGTON, N.C. (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

WHAT ARE YOU FEARFUL OF?

SCRIPTURE: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (1Timothy 1:7 KJV)

What is it about living in the beginning of your season that is causing you so much fear? We begin this year by telling you that God BLESSED you last year in such a way that he has chosen you to achieve the victory in this season. Then if God has chosen you to rise above the many frustrations, and obstacles that you would normally face on any given day, then why are you so fearful off moving forward towards your goals and achieving the victory that God has already blessed you with?

When you look into the book of first Timothy chapter 1 verse seven, this is what the word of God teaches us as Paul the Apostle’ has written, it says, “for God has not given us the spirit of fear.” let me repeat that one more time so that you don’t miss it, “for God has not given us the spirit of fear.” So if God has not given us the spirit of fear, then why are we faced with fear from every direction each and every day?

What is it that we are so afraid of that keeps us paralyzed in our tracks like a deer in the headlights of our automobiles? In this next sentence, Paul tells us that God gave us a “SPIRIT OF POWER, and then he gave us a SPIRIT OF LOVE, and he moved even further and he gave us a SPIRIT OF A COMPLETELY SOUND MIND.” By having a SPIRIT OF POWER, God is in EMPOWERING us to be able to overcome the evil spirits of the devil. He is saying to us, why should we just be completely paralyzed and sink back into our old habits, carrying all the same old baggage, making all the same mistakes over and over again? Do we not realize that God has shut the door on our past mistakes, and when God shuts the door tightly on something he will never open it up and allow it into our futures ever again?

Listen carefully my Brothers and Sisters; for I completely understand your fears, I have not always been immune from them myself. Yes, for many years I lived in fear of success of achieving the victory even though it was stirring me in the face. I did not want to believe that my goals were so easy achievable. God had called me into the ministry many years before I even accepted his call. I ran, I ducked, and dodged, I was like Jonah, I done everything I could to keep from walking into that pulpit and preaching God’s word as he had called me to do. Once I was able to be obedient to the call of God and begin to do the work that he had called me to do, massive success in my life became so easy, it was like turning on the water faucet and the water began to flow. God was blessing my life and all the people He had placed in my life. With the help of the Lord leading and the Holy Spirit teaches me, I was able to generate tens of millions of dollars for myself and so many others. I was no longer fearful of climbing to the top of the ladder that God had been trying to push me all alone. My fear of achieving the victory had evaporated because now God was using me in his own way to do his will, because my will was no longer important.

You see brothers and sisters, God provided me with the desires of my heart, he said “ask,” but when you ask, believe that I will provide to you what you ask for. When you ask in faith, be obedient to my word, and walk in the path of righteousness. Being obedient to the word of God help me to overcome my fears. Through all my ups and down I had to learn to trust God, lean and depend on him, and stop allowing the devil to fill my mind with evil thoughts, and begin to believe what thus says the Lord. By doing so I am where I am today, I am the son of the King; I am the disciples of Jesus Christ.

This will conclude today’s lesson, we will continue this discussion tomorrow and Sunday with tomorrows lesson title: “OVER COMING YOUR FEARS, LACK AND LIMITATION!”

YOU WERE PURPOSED TO LIVE IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS SEASON

THINK ON THESE THINGS: (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

THINK ON THESE THINGS: (PHOTO BY PASTOR DAVIS)

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV) My Brothers and Sisters, out with the old, in with the new.  You are now living in the new SEASON of your life which you were PURPOSE for.  Let this new BEGINNING be one that takes you places you never image you could go before, because God has PREDESTINED YOU, EQUIPPED YOU and PURPOSED YOU for this SEASON.  Now let us together begin the journey for which God has already planned out for each of us:

Let us not dwell upon the sins and mistakes of yesterday so exclusively as to have no energy and mind left for LIVING RIGHTLY IN THE BEGINNING AND BLESSNESS OF THIS DAY,   and do not think that the sins of yesterday can prevent you from living aright today.  Begin today by getting right with the world, and aided by the accumulated experiences of all your past days, learn to live it better than any of your previous days; but you cannot possibly live it better unless you begin it better.  The character of the whole day depends upon the way it is begun.

Another beginning of great importance is the beginning of any particular and responsible undertaking.  How does a man begin the building of a house?  He secures a plan of the proposed edifice, and proceeds to build according to the plan, scrupulously following it in every detail, from the foundation up.  Should he neglect the beginning, the obtaining of an architectural plan, his labor would be wasted, and his building, should it reach completion without tumbling to pieces, would be insecure and worthless.  The same law holds well in any important work: the right beginning and first essential is a definite mental plan on which to build.  Nature will have no slip-shod work, no slovenliness, and she annihilates confusion, or rather, confusion is in itself annihilation.  Order, definiteness, purpose, eternally and universally prevail; and he who in his operations ignores these elements of precision at once deprives himself of substantiality, completeness, and the opportunity for success.

Yes, My Brothers and Sisters, this is truly your year for success in any and all areas of your life in which you have laid out a definite mental plan of action and now ready to put it to its test.  Nothing ventured, nothing gain.  “YOU WERE PURPOSED TO LIVE IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS SEASON!”

In the next session of this lesson, we will discuss how your thoughts will affect your actions and plans as you move forward towards your goal of complete success.  Make sure that you do not miss out on any of these important lessons.  For additional studies on achieving success in your season please click on this link to our other BLOG title:  CREATING YOUR OWN REALITY:  http://wp.me/p1TR9l-18

“I AM WHO I AM.  These simple words have been an enigma to man for centuries.  He has reasoned that there must be a great mystical significance in them, and has meditated at length in hope that the enigma might be resolved.  At the risk of oversimplification let us alter the tempo, the emphasis we put on the words.  In doing so, they may well give depth of insight to us.  “I AM WHO I AM.” Perhaps the infinite wisdom of our one transcendent God is saying to us that the “I AM” in you has arrived at some degree of self-awareness.  Could it be that He…

UNLOCKING THE POWER OF THE MIND (GRAPHIC DESIGN BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

UNLOCKING THE POWER OF THE MIND (GRAPHIC DESIGN BY SHIRLEY RHODES)

Now let us understand this very important fact, there is a world within each of us—a world of thought and feeling and power; of light and life and beauty and, although invisible, its forces are mighty.

This world that is within us is governed by our MIND.  When we discover this world we shall find the solution for every problem, the cause for every effect; and since the world within is subject to our control, and all laws of power and possession are also within our control.

However, our world that is without is a reflection of the world within.  What appears without is what has been found within.  In the world within may be found INFINITE. Wisdom, infinite Power, and infinite Supply of all that is necessary, waiting for enfoldment, development, and expression;  If we recognize these potentialities in…

REMEMBERING OTHERS DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS for they shall be called the sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9; NKJV)

REMEMBERING OTHERS DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON:

"DEW DROPS OF MORNING BRINGS REFRESHING AND HOPE"

“DEW DROPS OF MORNING BRINGS REFRESHING AND HOPE”

WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:

The time of year many have anxiously anticipated is upon us, now the process of decision and choice making has begun full forced. It is the time of year in which feasting and celebration are shared within many homes and communities world -wide; therefore, let us enhance the spirit by REMEMBERING OTHERS DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

There are those who are less fortunate among us that a friendly gesture can bring healing to their soul, for they seek not the material things of this world, but spiritual. Jesus gave each of us a message, a thought to always ponder especially during the holiday season, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God” (Matthew 5:9; NKJV). Where there is disharmony, discord, chaos and greed, the time is now to mend and repair, restore and renew by REMEMBERING OTHERS DURING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.

Somewhere there is someone that will not hear the words “Joy to the World” or “Silent Night,” because of the sound of war raging in their communities. Somewhere there will be some child that will not experience the happiness of opening gifts with moments of glee. Somewhere someone will spend Christmas alone because they have no family to share it with. The list it seems is endless, but the joy of Christmas is really all about the “Birth” the “Gift of a Savior.” For the scriptures reminds us this way, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.” While REMEMBERING OTHERS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON think on these things for it is from the heart love is freely given.

As the joy and spirit of Christmas continue to unfold, take a moment and reflect on how blessed you truly are, WHILE REMEMBERING OTHERS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON in a very special way.

May you find the gift of peace and contentment as you approach and become participants in this holiday season.

BELIEVE, WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE

BELIEVE, WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE:

WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:

"GOD PROVIDES FOR ALL OF CREATION" PHOTO BY SHIRLEY RHODES

BELIEVE, WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE for he is the giver and sustainer of life; a bridge over troubled waters; an anchor in the storm; you must look to him with child- like faith in expectancy. While learning to embrace the meaning behind it all, seek to enlarge your faith, ask for more grace because trials and tribulations of this world are sure to come; yet, through the experiences keep yourself anchored in Jesus, he is your “hope” and he will never disappoint. You are the child of a “King;” therefore; be thankful, and proclaim “For he that is mighty have done to me great things; and Holy is his name.” (Luke 1:49; NKJV)

Faith means reliance; hope for the unseen; non- doubting; there are times you may limit or overlook this God given blessing; denying what builds your strength, endurance and integrity. Abraham did not doubt at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded (convinced) that what he had promised, he was able to perform (Romans 4: 20-2). The apostles (Jesus’ chosen followers) came up to Jesus and said, “Master, give us more faith.” But the Master said, “You don’t need more faith, there is no ‘more’ or ‘less’ faith. All things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive (Matthew 21:22; MGS). BELIEVE, WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE.

Grace signifies favor and God favors’ you. He thought of you and gave you His breath of life, His Spirit. Through- out the many challenges that you’re faced with day to day, his grace is able to keep you established in his care. He thought enough of each of you to give you the opportunity to align your steps according to his will, so much that He sent his Son to bring you back to the throne of grace. Scripture reminds us this way, The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…full of grace and truth…grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:14-17). God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that world of sin; having faith in him sets us in the clear… with himself through the sacrifice of Jesus, finally taking care of the sins he had so patiently endured (Romans 3: 25-26).

Tribulation brings about experience which can enhance growth; we are reminded that the world we live in physically is not our permanent dwelling, so set your sight on the spiritual. BELIEVE,WITH GOD NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE, for the scripture says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution…for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life…not things present, nor things to come…nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8: 35-39; NKJV)

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, IF YOU ONLY BELIEVE my friends.
