TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE (Photo by Pastor Davis)

Let me begin this morning by asking you a question; “What are you waiting on?” The journey through this life waits for no one.  Yet you continue to procrastinate by putting off what you can do today for tomorrow, as though there is going to be a tomorrow.  For it is not promised and if you do not begin the task that has been set before you, how do you ever expect to accomplish them?

God has given each one of us a purpose in which to accomplish in this life time, and He has assigned us a specific task to carry out.  Do you know or even understand what you are assigned to do daily in this life as you work towards accomplishing what has been assigned to you?

This is the day and the moment in time for each of you to, “GET UP AND GET GOING!”  Stop wasting valuable time thinking about what you have to do, instead just “GET UP” and, “DO IT!”

In your heart of hearts you may say to yourself, know body knows the pain and frustrations I am feeling day to day.  It is easy for you to say Pastor, “GET UP AND GET GOING!”  But let me tell you, it’s easier said than done.

I say to you my friends, sometimes we’re hurting, and we feel very isolated and lonely.  Maybe there’s been a death in the family, a divorce, maybe we’ve gotten fired, and we start to think, “Nobody understands the way I feel, nobody can tell the way I feel, nobody feels the pain.”

Now know this, God knows your feelings and frustrations.  He’s seen the crisis in your soul.  There’s no hurt that goes unnoticed by God.  Psalm 56:6 says, “You know how troubled I am you have kept a recdord of my tears” (Good News)

Yes, I say to you, God knows all things; none of your troubles are above His caring and understanding.  You must learn to lean and depend upon Him.  Cast all your troubles and concerns upon His shoulders.  The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” Psalms 103:13 NLT

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (Be an Encourager)

As we begin a brand new week, walking out our purpose in this life, let us learn how to use our prayer life to ENCOURAGE one another.  “We are truly our brothers and sisters keeper; therefore, we should be about God’s business in helping one another to move forward in this life as we all grow in His grace being an ENCOURAGER!

Listen to what Paul tells us concerning this matter, he says, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.  (Philippians 2:4 ESV).  As we read this, let us understand that we as believers should not be completely absorbed in his or her own affairs, but should also be interested in others, nothing their good points and qualities.  A sure cure for selfish ambition is appreciative recognition of others’ good qualities and their walk with the Lord.  It is easy to get caught up in competition, aggressive acquiring and vying for our own rights and needs.  But compared to knowing Christ, those interests seem shallow.  We need Christ’s attitude of self-sacrifice to look beyond ourselves to the needs of others.

LET US PRAY:  Eternal God, our Heavenly Father, we begin a brand new week in your presents seeking your blessings over our Nation, our leaders, our families, our friends and all those that you have brought forth into our lives as a blessings to our souls and the work we do. We move forward this day and this week thanking you Heavenly Father for the abundance of your love and prosperity that is flowing into our lives to meet the needs of all our brothers and sisters.  Let not our own selfish ambitions hinder us from reaching out to help others that are in need. Help us to shift our focus and our thinking from our worldly needs to the great abundance of all spiritual truths.  Let our prayer life be the focal point of lifting each other up in such a way that you may clean us up and use each one of us for the building of your Kingdom and the eternal salvation of all your children.  In Jesus name, we pray, Amen!  Now click on this video clip and listen for the voice of God speak to you.

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (You can make it if you try)

FEAR NOT (By Pastor Davis)

FEAR NOT (By Pastor Davis)

Trials and tribulations are truly a part of our daily lives.  How we deal with them in each moment of the day defines our strength and weakness, which helps us to overcome and continue to push forward, or knocks us down, makes us feel weak and sometimes in capable of getting up and moving forward.  The devil knows our every weakness and has no regard for our strengths.  He does not like strong soldiers on the battlefield, therefore, he will do everything in his powers to knock you out of the battle early in the fight.

But know this; “YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU TRY!”  The Lord has prepared you for moments such as this.  He has equipped you with all the necessary tools to fight this battle and win.  The most important thing we can encourage you to do this day as the devil throws everything in the kitchen sink at you is to: A.  Stay focus and keep your eyes of the prize, B. Be strong in your resolve, C. Be courageous in your forward movement D. Never give up and never give in, because; “YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU TRY!”

On this Monday Morning the Lord, your God wants you to be Encouraged in His Word, be not dismayed and Fear Not as His Words speaks volumes of truth to power in this powerful passage of scripture which says, “I pulled you in from all over the world, called you in from every dark corner of the earth, Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side. I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’ Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God.  I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. (Isaiah 41:10 MSG)

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (Remain Calm)

He who restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding(Proverb 17:27 NASB)

My Brothers and Sisters, in today’s message we are encouraging you to overcome your fears, anger disappointments and remain calm, control your tongue and engage your mind before you engage your mouth.  For the word of the Lord teaches us how to overcome this difficult challenge in this manner, it says, “The one who knows much says little; an understanding person remains calm.”  (Proverb 17:27 MSG)

Now click on this short video clip, watch and listen carefully as Pastor Davis explains how you can be lifted up and overcome the many challenges you face today by remaining CALM.

Now let me conclude this teaching with the final word from the Lord himself, and this is what He wants you to Listen to, Understand, and become a doer of His Word.  He says this, “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:19-22 NIV)

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (The Armor of God)

Know the truth and the truth will set you free

Know the truth and the truth will set you free

Good Morning to all God’s people where ever you may be, it is Monday Morning, the beginning of a brand new week.  As you leave your homes and families and begin your journey to execute the task that you have been given, we want you to be encouraged by the word of God, with His entire blessings of love, peace and power, to overcome the many trials and tribulations that will come upon you this day

We encourage you, in all that you may do, too know the truth, know the word and use it as your weapon to fight evil wherever it may exist.  For this is truly a brand new day that God has made for you and I to rejoice and be glad in it.  He has chosen each one of you for a very specific task this week and he has given you a purpose for carrying it out, and pointed you in the right direction that will enable you to be successful on your all important assignment.

Now finally, the people of God, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.  Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Godpraying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.

To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.  (Ephesians 6:10-20 ESV)

Now have no doubts that the devil is waiting to take you down, and keep you from receiving your crown, but the choice is yours, obey the word of God and the devil can never be in charge. PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD.  We bless this word to you this morning that you will receive it in the manner that it is given and share it with all those that you love as a word of encouragement and protection of their souls, in Jesus name, AMEN!

Now may the peace of the Lord rest and resize with you throughout your journey through space and time this week.  Live, love and enjoy all that has been set before you at the table of blessings, for it is truly yours given in love by the abundant hands of the one who holds all things in the palm of His ever loving hands.
