Monday’s Word of Encouragement (You can make it if you try)

FEAR NOT (By Pastor Davis)

FEAR NOT (By Pastor Davis)

Trials and tribulations are truly a part of our daily lives.  How we deal with them in each moment of the day defines our strength and weakness, which helps us to overcome and continue to push forward, or knocks us down, makes us feel weak and sometimes in capable of getting up and moving forward.  The devil knows our every weakness and has no regard for our strengths.  He does not like strong soldiers on the battlefield, therefore, he will do everything in his powers to knock you out of the battle early in the fight.

But know this; “YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU TRY!”  The Lord has prepared you for moments such as this.  He has equipped you with all the necessary tools to fight this battle and win.  The most important thing we can encourage you to do this day as the devil throws everything in the kitchen sink at you is to: A.  Stay focus and keep your eyes of the prize, B. Be strong in your resolve, C. Be courageous in your forward movement D. Never give up and never give in, because; “YOU CAN MAKE IT IF YOU TRY!”

On this Monday Morning the Lord, your God wants you to be Encouraged in His Word, be not dismayed and Fear Not as His Words speaks volumes of truth to power in this powerful passage of scripture which says, “I pulled you in from all over the world, called you in from every dark corner of the earth, Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side. I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’ Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God.  I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. (Isaiah 41:10 MSG)

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (Remain Calm)

He who restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding(Proverb 17:27 NASB)

My Brothers and Sisters, in today’s message we are encouraging you to overcome your fears, anger disappointments and remain calm, control your tongue and engage your mind before you engage your mouth.  For the word of the Lord teaches us how to overcome this difficult challenge in this manner, it says, “The one who knows much says little; an understanding person remains calm.”  (Proverb 17:27 MSG)

Now click on this short video clip, watch and listen carefully as Pastor Davis explains how you can be lifted up and overcome the many challenges you face today by remaining CALM.

Now let me conclude this teaching with the final word from the Lord himself, and this is what He wants you to Listen to, Understand, and become a doer of His Word.  He says this, “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” (James 1:19-22 NIV)

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (The Armor of God)

Know the truth and the truth will set you free

Know the truth and the truth will set you free

Good Morning to all God’s people where ever you may be, it is Monday Morning, the beginning of a brand new week.  As you leave your homes and families and begin your journey to execute the task that you have been given, we want you to be encouraged by the word of God, with His entire blessings of love, peace and power, to overcome the many trials and tribulations that will come upon you this day

We encourage you, in all that you may do, too know the truth, know the word and use it as your weapon to fight evil wherever it may exist.  For this is truly a brand new day that God has made for you and I to rejoice and be glad in it.  He has chosen each one of you for a very specific task this week and he has given you a purpose for carrying it out, and pointed you in the right direction that will enable you to be successful on your all important assignment.

Now finally, the people of God, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.  Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Godpraying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.

To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.  (Ephesians 6:10-20 ESV)

Now have no doubts that the devil is waiting to take you down, and keep you from receiving your crown, but the choice is yours, obey the word of God and the devil can never be in charge. PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD.  We bless this word to you this morning that you will receive it in the manner that it is given and share it with all those that you love as a word of encouragement and protection of their souls, in Jesus name, AMEN!

Now may the peace of the Lord rest and resize with you throughout your journey through space and time this week.  Live, love and enjoy all that has been set before you at the table of blessings, for it is truly yours given in love by the abundant hands of the one who holds all things in the palm of His ever loving hands.

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (Be Persistent)

My Brothers and Sisters as we begin this week I want to encourage you to “Be Persistent” and you will achieve your desired goals that you have established for yourselves, your families and your Ministries.  It is so important that you remain focus on what God has set in front of you.  Always remembering that God never gives you a task to complete without first fully equipping you with the necessary tools to complete that task.  Persistent is an act of faith.  Stand on your faith and be persistent at achieving your goals at all times. Put your faith into action!

Therefore, you must “Be Persistent at whatever you desire to achieve in this life.  Time is short, use every minute of everyday to achieve your desired results.  Now read and study carefully Matthews 15:22-28, and listen carefully to the message on this video, it will help you to understand what you must do…

Monday’s Word of Encouragement (Peace and Contentment)

Finding Peace and Contentment in the Midst of your Storms

We as Children of God are living in a fasted paste time frame, and as we live and breathe in all that God has set before us, we seem to find little time for the most precious gift of them all, and that is the gift of CONTENTMENT AND PEACE.

Now let me explain, what the word of God says about CONTENTMENT; “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  (Hebrews 13:5 ESV)

Therefore, I encourage you to understand that CONTENTMENT destroys jealously and helps celebrate success in others, it is a trait found deep within and shines forth as light. Through your own CONTENTMENT you’re able to find peace and strength to endure what otherwise would push you to the breaking point.

CONTENTMENT unclaimed, un-recognized hinders ones’ FREEDOM; therefore, they will never truly be free unless this treasured source is tapped into; as the saying goes, “CONTENTMENT is great gain.” The amazing thing about CONTENTMENT is that it is instilled in each of us. Jesus has taught and given the gift of love and that love is unconditional love for all people.

CONTENTMENT is thankfulness for what God has already done in your life; with that, your gifts will bud and blossom touching lives in many ways some in which you may never know. Always remember this one thing; never allow anyone or anything to take away your confidence (faith) in God because he loves you without restrictions, when you allow him to become who you are. It is in Christ you can find PEACE and CONTENTMENT, much different than what the world offers.

Now I Encourage you to Find CONTENTMENT is what you are purposed to do and live in PEACE for this is the will of God.

Listening requires discipline and patience

Zipper Mouth

Learning to listen to others requires much discipline, and discipline requires patience.  We have gotten so use to babbling that we forgot how to listen and understand what others are saying.  Now if you understood anything about those first two sentences, and are ready to listen to the words that are being spoken to you today, you might be able to walk in the newest of life and find much more joy, peace, contentment and happiness in your relationships.

Our mouth and that little thing called our tongue gets us into a world of trouble at times.  If we would put a zipper on our mouth and be swift to listen and slow to speak, we can transform our lives in ways unimaginable at other times.  For believers, this is a lesson you must practice daily.  For non-believers, you must seek the Lord for guidance and salvation in order to begin the process, because God‘s perfect law must be put into practice in our speech.  Why? Because God’s law is truth, and the law sets people free.  It is only in obeying God that true freedom can be found.  As Christian’s, we are saved by God’s grace, and salvation frees us from sin‘s control, speaking and not listen.  As believers we are free to live as God created us to live.  Of course, this does not mean that we are free to do as we please.

Now let us clearly understand this one truth, and that is, we must be swift to listen and slow to speak.  The expression be quick to listen is a beautiful way of capturing the idea of active listening as it is taught in (James 1:19).  James explains to us that we are not simply to refrain from speaking; we are to be ready and willing to listen.  This “quick” listening is obviously to be done with discernment.  We are to check what we hear with God’s word.  If we don’t listen both carefully and quickly, we are liable to be led into all kinds of false teaching and error.

Quick to listen and slow to speak should be taken together as sides of the same coin.  Slowness in speaking means speaking with humility and patience, not with hasty words or nonstop babbling.  Constraint talking keeps a person from being able to hear.  Wisdom is not always having something to say, it involves listening carefully, considering prayerfully, and speaking quietly.  When we talk too much and listen too little, we communicate to others that we think our ideas are much more important than theirs.  James wisely advises us to reverse this process.  We need to put a mental stopwatch on our conversations and keep track of how much we talk and how much we listen.  When people talk to us, do they feel that their viewpoints and ideas have value?

Putting a zipper on one’s mouth and learning to listen requires the same set of skills as an athlete.  In order for an athlete to achieve greatest he must persevere in training in order to improve their abilities and endurance for competition, so do we, in order to persevere in spiritual training our senses need to be swift to listen and slow to speak, as we patiently endure testing that will bring maturity and completeness.

We must come to a point in our lives where we know that God’s long term goal for us is maturity and completeness, but his eternal goal for us is the crown of life, a rich expression of hope.  We can only arrive at this point when we learn to be obedient to the word of God.  Know the truth and the truth will set you free.  Be swift to listen and slow to speak.  PUT A ZIPPER ON YOUR MOUTH AND LEARN TO LISTEN!

We hope that this lesson has blessed your soul this day and you will use it to bless someone else by sharing it with your followers in Jesus name:
