Today let us all pause and reflect upon the grace of God that has brought us through the tragedy of 9/11.  Many of us lost love ones on that day ten years ago, but for those of us who are witness to God’s saving grace, know that God sent His Son Jesus here to purchase salvation for His people and bring renewal to this world.  It was nothing but the enemy of God who tried to destroy those towers and therefore destroy God’s people.  But this was not meant to be, because God will always have the last word.

We are living in very dangerous times.  Ten years ago most of us can remember where we were and what we were doing on 9/11 at the very moment those planes struck the world trade center towers.  Since then the United States, along with other international allies like Great Britain, has entered two wars, there has been a global economic down turn, most of us have lost money on our homes or other private investments or pensions. Millions of people are out of work and unable to find a job.  Just a couple of days ago our President went before congress and presented  The American’s Job Act of 2011.  We have gone from a booming economy to a state of depression. However, on this day we stand together as one nation, under God and by God’s amazing Grace to honor those who lost their lives by no fault of their own.  Now listen to this beautiful song.

Today, as we go about our business let us remember that we all can be a part once again by pausing in prayer wherever we are, and pray we will have peace in this world, and that the people will hear the gospel of grace and salvation, and in doing so they will repent and believe, and be cleansed by the word of truth.  I believe strongly that a change is under way and that this broken world is going to find restoration through the gospel and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  I encourage you to think deeply on the events of 9/11 and in some small way, they may cause you to consider your own destiny, and allow Jesus to lead you near the cross as you receive forgiveness and grace on this day.

I leave you with my peace that you will truly come boldly before the throne of grace and rejoice in the Holy Spirit that is now awaiting you.  Remember, salvation is FREE for the asking.  I minister to you from a position of peace, power, purpose and prosperity.  I remain your brother in Christ, Pastor Davis/Master Teacher.
