Dr. Arthur Ben Faust

Arthur Ben Faust is a native of Liberty, Mississippi and married to Zandra Renee’ Faust. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky; a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia and a Doctorate of
Sacred Theology from Mount Hope Bible College and Theological Seminary (defunct) in Houston, Texas.  He has pursued Doctoral Studies as a Proctor/Booth Fellow at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio with a focus on “Preaching in the African American Church for the 21st Century”. He has also studied at Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana and Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia.  He also has a Certification in Expository Preaching from the E. K. Bailey Ministries’ Conference on Expository Preaching in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Faust has been preaching for 30 years.  He has pastored and served churches in Louisiana, Georgia and Texas (25 years of leadership skills promoting and directing Christian Education).
He has taught in the Louisiana Baptist Youth Encampment, under the auspices of the Louisiana Baptist Convention, National Baptist Convention, USA, while serving as Pastor of the Evergreen Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana; as well as Preacher and Lecturer in the Louisiana Baptist Convention.  He has served as the keynote speaker and presenter in Church and Men’s Conferences, Retreats, and Institutes as well as a presenter in Career Days for Youth & College Students.  He has also served as Preacher, Lecturer, and Bible Teacher in The Houston Metropolitan Baptist Ministers’ Conference in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Faust has served four years as Staff Minister of Training & Development at the St. Stephen Baptist Church, and three years as Teaching Pastor at the Redemption Bible Church in Houston, Texas.  He has along with his wife completed training in Foster and Adopted Parenting with One
Church One Child of Southeast Texas, Inc. in Beaumont, Texas.  He is also a Certified Christian Counselor through the Christian Institute For Counselor Certification, Inc. in Houston, Texas.  He completed his Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) as a Resident Chaplain at the Methodist Hospital System in the Texas Medical Center in the Texas Medical Center, where he currently serves as a Staff Chaplain.

Because of his love for preaching and teaching, Dr. Faust has founded New Global Life Ministries, a ministry of Evangelism, Discipleship, Mission, Christian Education, and Training & Development. God has also given him a pastor/servant’s heart.  His ministry has developed into a more comprehensive and far reaching ministry: preacher/teacher (training & development), prophetic/priestly (social action), evangelistic (missions), counselor, and servant/leader.  His focus is to serve the church and community as minister, teacher, counselor/mentor, and spiritual leader using his experience, training and acquired skills to improve the quality of life for others.
