Father’s are empowered by the Word of God to be leaders of their Family
We are living in some very difficult times and our families are being pushed to the brink in a chaotic world. God has ordained Fathers to be the head, not the tail, and leader of His family, but fathers are feeling defeated and powerless to do the very thing that God has placed him here to do. therefore, my brothers and sisters, I want to provide to you, Mothers as well as Fathers some Scriptures to help Fathers to stand strong on the Word of God and stop feeling powerless because God has provided His Word as your tool and weapon to equip you in your role as leader and head of your family.
FATHERS, STAND STRONG ON THE WORD OF GOD
Remember, God never assigns you a task without first empowering you to carry out that task. So take heed the Word of the Lord I am going to share with you at this moment and time:
WHEN YOU ARE FEELING DEFEATED AND POWERLESS KNOW THAT:
God is a safe place to hide, ready to help when we need him.We stand fearless at the cliff-edge of doom, courageous in seastorm and earthquake. Before the rush and roar of oceans, the tremors that shift mountains.
Jacob-wrestling, God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us. (Psalm 46:1-3 MSG)
HOW DID PAUL HANDLE HIS FEELINGS OF DEFEAT AND POWERLESS?
Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,
My grace is enough; it’s all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10 MSG)
CENTER YOUR MIND IN CHRIST JESUS:
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name. (Philippians 2:5-9 ESV)
You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word. (Psalms 119:114 ESV)
Oh, grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man! With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes. (Psalms 108:12-13 ESV)
Now fathers, let the Word of God strengthen you as you learn to lean and depend on the one who can do all things but fail. Stop allowing your faith to be like the motions of the oceans, always going back and forth. Be strong and Be Courageous, for the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you. Know that you have a friend in Jesus. Have a blessed and enjoyable Father’s Day!
