For people who hate discipline and only get more stubborn, There’ll come a day when life tumbles in and they break, but by then it’ll be too late to help them. (Proverb 29:1 MSG)
A man who continues in sin, in spite of repeated warnings, will suddenly be destroyed without hope of any further opportunity. The people who lived before the flood refused to listen to Noah. The flood came and they were destroyed.
An acquaintance of mine who had repeatedly rejected the gospel invitation met a Christian lady who had prayed for him often. She said, “Don’t you think it’s time you turned to the Lord?” He answered, “What has He ever done for me?” That weekend his life was snuffed out in a mysterious mishap. It was one of those accidents that couldn’t happen but did!
God has placed in us from the beginning the power to make decisions. When we come to a fork in the road we have a choice of which way to go, right or left. Choose this day whom you will follow, God or the devil.
