THE GARMENT OF PRAISE AND PRAYER is what encircles our lives as believers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, centered on salvation, wholeness, and revelation. For the scripture encourages us to be prayer warriors and put on “The Garment of Praise for the Spirit of Heaviness.” (Isaiah 61: 3).
I remember it all; the feeling of “hitting bottom,” but there is one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on “hope.” God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, and the woman who diligently seeks. It is a good thing to quietly hope for help from God. When life is heavy and hard to take, go off by yourself, enter the silence, bow and pray and don’t ask questions just wait for hope to appear (Lamentations 3:19-30 MGS.), God’s timing is not our timing; remember, “The Garment of Praise and Prayer is your covering in time of need.”
Often we may fall prey to thinking in a self-important way, claiming to know God and even acting on his name; therefore, it is wise to know that this very attitude can put us in danger of missing, even rejecting all that Jesus is and the life he offers us. God is waiting to revive each of us with splendor and joy; first, we must remove the chains of fear and allow room for the Holy Spirit (the most intimate part of life) to shower us with renewed hope. Explore the many ways there are to capture the possibilities of a peaceful life; remember, “The Garment of Praise and Prayer is your covering in time of need,” in times of wholeness, and salvation.
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does, and is near to all who call on him in truth. “The Garment of Praise and Prayer is your covering in time of need,” prayer is the foundation to wisdom, decide to make it the most natural conversation of your day. When you awake in the morning starting your day without prayer is like diving into the ocean without the proper gear, you won’t get very far. So make prayer and praise a part of your beginning with a humble heart, God is waiting to share what he has purposed for your journey this day.
Through Jesus the Messiah (our sacrifice for sin), whom God the Father rose from the dead, we are recipients of grace and peace; therefore, understand that “The Garment of Praise and Prayer is your covering in the time of need.”The Lord watches over all who love and fear him, your blessings flow from the source, and the giver of life itself.
So, my friends allow your day to be one of love, laughter, joy and peace while remembering, “The Garment of Praise is your covering in the time of need.”
