Today we all grieve over the loss of so many beautiful lives from a gunman going on a shooting rampage in a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. We are told that this is the largest mass shooting in America’s history. These mass shootings and killing of innocence people must stop.
Our prayers go out to families and loved ones of the victims. We are all God’s children’s and God loves us dearly. Let us embrace one another as we seek the Lord’s wisdom and strength to make it through the difficult times. When prayers go up, blessings are sent down. Therefore, let us pray without ceasing for the families, friends, the community of Orlando and the entire country.
Let us remember that evil doers are all around us, attempting to enter into our minds and steal our joy. But let us not fear evil, but let us triumph over evil by keeping our minds focus on Jesus who can do all things but fail.
Fear is an evil spirit, that can and will destroy us from the inside if we allow it to take root in our minds. So I encourage everyone, to be mindful of the power that God has given to each of us through His might to overcome the devil and stand strong in the face of adversity, by placing your faith and hope in God, believing what He says, “that weeping may endure for a night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.”
