Being Thankful

Today My Brothers and Sisters, we begin a series of lessons on “Being Thankful.”  Because we are entering into the Holiday Season these lessons will be a reminder for us to share with one another our gratefulness in our Spiritual Being as one people, living in the body of Christ, and embracing our uniqueness as sons and daughters of the most high.

For me, I am thankful for each one of you who take the time to visit here with us day in and day out, taking the time to read, study and share the Word of God with others.  I am grateful for being given the privilege to serve as one of the Lord’s servant in a capacity that helps fulfill His Mission of taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the World, and thankful that the Lord has sent so many of you who has decided to join in with me and be a total part of reaching out to help the Lord’s people.

My heart is humble and my gratitude for your service is beyond measure.  Therefore, I will say to you the same words that Paul spoke to the Corinthians.  “Every time I think of you—and I think of you often!—I thank God for your lives of free and open access to God, given by Jesus. There’s no end to what has happened in you—it’s beyond speech, beyond knowledge. The evidence of Christ has been clearly verified in your lives. (1 Corinthians 1:4-5 MSG)

May you continue to find joy and peace in the work you do as you embrace each other with a heart filled with love and understanding for what the Lord has done for each one of His Children.  For we all are His people and the Sheep of His pasture, let there be no division between us as we go forth into this Holiday Season being thankful and sharing with each other the many blessings that the Lord has set before us this day.  May His mercy and grace be with you through all eternity, in Jesus name, Amen!
