Begin your journey into the unknown by seeking forgiveness of your sins. For the Bible tells us that we all have sinned and fallen short of the Lord’s glory. Let this be an adventure that we experience with the fullness of all the energy we can mustard.
For I know that,“Forgiveness is truly an adventure, it is making peace with the past, it also means to give up and let go.” I say to you, forgiveness works two ways. You must forgive to be forgiven. “He who cannot forgive others,” wrote Edward Herbert, “breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass; for every person has the need to be forgiven.”
Forgiveness should start now. Putting off forgiving only deepens the wound. Clinging to bitternesspostpones happiness. Life is short, time is fleeting. Today is the day to forgive. Take this moment and search your heart for the list of those persons who you know you should be forgiven and take the first step and make it happen.
Now may the blessings of the Lord be upon you this weekend as the Lord lifts you higher for your spirit of forgiveness. For He is a God that blesses those who bless others. Your blessing is in your wiliness to Forgive.
