WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:

Focus on your thinking and take time to learn how to apply Godly teachings in all situations. No one is in a struggle or battle alone, but if you make the choice to eliminate the way God has planned your life you may never come to the knowledge and understanding of your purpose. The bible teaches you this way: Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God…taking the form of a bondservant…being found in appearance as a man, humbled himself and became obedient to death…(Philippians 2: 5-11; NKJV)

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed…shun profane and idle babblings…for their message will spread like cancer (2 Timothy 2: 15-17)

Know this, in the last days perilous times will come: men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power (2 Timothy 3:1-4)

Finally: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time…be sober, be vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may destroy…resist him…(1 Peter 5:5-9)

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil…depart from evil and do good, seek peace and pursue it (Psalm: 34: 14-16)

  1. This is indeed true. “Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:1-4). It’s going on right now. So be not surprised when people are unthankful, ungrateful, uncaring, unforgiving, unfaithful, or unkind, and all the other negative connotations that fulfill this scripture.
