DO NOT HAVE AN ANXIOUS MIND:

DO NOT WORRY:

WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life…do not seek what you should eat or drink…nor have an anxious mind…do not fear…for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom,” says Jesus (Luke 12:22-23; NKJV).

Be aware of whose you are and who controls your destiny; allow the Holy Spirit to enter into your life and you will be able to stand firm and weather the storms as they come—because it’s not over until God say so. Study obedience and surrender your “cares” to the one who really cares. Peter says, “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trail which come to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you: but rejoice…” (1 Peter: 3:9).

Today you will encounter something or someone that will attempt to derail your thoughts and or actions, especially if you’re striving towards the mark with all diligence. So prepare for any obstacle; besides, scripture reminds you this way, “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; always be ready…” (1 Peter: 3:13-17).

Paul rounds it out with these words of encouragement: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the tricks of the devil…” (Ephesian: 6: 10-20).

For today keep a song in your heart while immersed in the Holy Spirit and the Lord of Lord’s will lift you up to the next level of your journey as you walk out your purpose. “Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.” (Ephesians: 6: 24)

What a true blessing you are to the Kingdom of God. Thank you for re-blogging this message and working to build up the Kingdom. He commanded us to go and make disciples. It is truly a great job that we all can do when we make the decision to be obedient. May God bless you and multiply your blessings many times over.

  1. I needed these words today. Thank you, Pastor.

My dear sister in Christ, you are so welcome. At some point, we all need a picker upper. God provides that for us, and He put different people in place for His glory and that through what He provides, we all will receive. Thank you for being a faithful servant, and may He continue to lift you higher and higher each and everyday. Live in His perfect peace this moment.
