Written by SHIRLEY RHODES:
Society has become a stage of life in which you are able to see how people are responding to one another through acts of hate, malice, war, and neglect, just to name a few. God gave each of us a life to live, yet many prefer to take the road of least resistance, ignoring many problems that can easily be corralled. LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING, provide hope for the dying world we wake up and embrace every day, it’s about mutual caring and sharing the message of hope found in Jesus. Peter shared his thoughts this way, “Friends, this world is not your home, so don’t make yourselves cozy in it. Don’t indulge your ego at the expense of your soul” (1 Peter: 2:11; MGS).
Disobedience brings about many problems that can affect almost anything that surrounds you, that’s why is important to be attentive to what enters your space. You are no different than many who have gone on before you, even in the time of the Master Jesus himself. People often closed their ears to what he had to say, words that give a better quality of life, yet he never ceased to reach out, helping others to know the importance of LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING.
Scripture shares these words; “Now it came to pass…Jesus…departed from there to teach and preach in their cities” (Matthew 11:1; NKJV); “…he rebuked the cities in which most of his mighty works had been done because they did not repent” (Matthew 11:20). He said, “Come to me all you who labor…I will give you rest. My yoke is easy and my burden is light” (Matthew 11: 28-30) Jesus embraced, LEARNING THE ART OF LOVE, TOUCH AND GIVING by setting an example.
May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble…May he grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose (Psalm 20:4-5).
