ASSURANCE, I WILL GIVE YOUR LIFE TO YOU AS A PRIZE:
WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:
ASSURANCE, I WILL GIVE YOUR LIFE TO YOU AS A PRIZE, what more can we ask for? We strive to live in balance and harmony with nature and each other, yet we struggle from day to day, unsure of our directions and or calling. The Lord has promise to provide all that’s necessary for this journey, the assignment, our purpose.
The Lord says: “Behold what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, this is the whole land; and do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them, for behold, I will bring adversity on all flesh, but I WILL GIVE YOUR LIFE TO YOU AS A PRIZE in all places, where-ever you go.” (Jeremiah 45: 4-5; NKJV)
When life is heavy and hard to take go off by yourself, enter the silence; bow in prayer, don’t ask questions wait for hope to appear (Lamentation 3: 28-30 MGS). There may be circumstances that you feel inadequate to handle or lack the desire to attempt. God is a God that will never place on you more than you can bear, he knows every weakness and trial you encounter; after all, he is the creator and finisher of all things. His love is never ending and what he does it’s because he loves each of us, so don’t ever take that love for-granted. When you display spirits of being unthankful, you insult God by questioning his love; remember his word; I WILL GIVE YOUR LIFE TO YOU AS A PRIZE; to you, not someone else, that is his promise.
Let us search out and examine our ways and turn back to the Lord; Let us lift our hearts and hands to God in heaven (Lamentation 3:40-41). When the course seems rugged and stumbling blocks are in the way, know that in every situation, God has a ram in the bush, so learn to trust him to secure your present and future.
When it seems as if all is hopeless, say as the psalmist did; “I will lift my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help; My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121: 1-2; NKJV), for he has promised that, “I WILL GIVE YOUR LIFE TO YOU AS A PRIZE in all places wherever you go.” The Lord shall preserve you from all evil (121:7).
This is a great time to refocus, renew, and reclaim your place in kingdom building by connecting to the branch from which the substance for life is always in a constant state of flow. Allow this to be a gift to yourself, one in which you make a choice to share with others the true meaning of love. Learn to love the way Jesus did; without restrictions, you will find that your heart fills with a new kind of joy and peace. The life you live is your prize possession, cherish the gift.
