THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE:
WRITTEN BY SHIRLEY RHODES:
THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE but, you must have faith, be obedient and be vigilant. Nothing you do or say that results from chaos and confusion will bring about desired results. Be reminded that it is through Gods’ grace you are empowered to accomplish his will from within for which you are purposed.
By remembering the faith principle, you know that THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1; NKGV), but without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is… (11: 6). The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living; it’s our handle on what we can’t see (Hebrews 11:1; MGS).
Moses wasn’t a possibility thinker at the time he was called, he didn’t foresee his ability to accomplish something much greater than his mind could envision; nevertheless, he girded up and stepped out in faith. The Lord told Moses to go forth and watch him work. God spoke to Moses and said, “I am the Lord” (Exodus 6:2). Whatever the assignment you too must face be assured of this one thing: THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE.
Obedience (submissive) means to obey, approaching life from a point where you are able to quiet your mind so that the Holy Spirit can flow freely within. When the world challenges you and says no, God releases you and says yes, THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE.
Remain vigilant (watchful) at all times, because Satan stands pounced ready to throw you off course. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…do not be wise in your own eyes…” (Proverbs 3:5-7). Whatever your struggle, or your problem that causes you internal stress, learn the art of release by allowing the Holy Spirit to be your guide. Allow praise and thanksgiving to flow from your lips, knowing without a doubt that THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE. Sometime we have to move self out of the “way” and line up “with,” look up in faith expecting God’s blessings for our lives.
So my encouraging words to you my brothers and sisters is to always remember; be faithful, obedient and vigilant in all things. Look to the Lord for guidance and protection, he will never leave you in a position uncared for.
“Unto you I lift up my eyes, O you who dwell in the heavens. Behold as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master; as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to the Lord our God until he has mercy on us” (Psalm 123:1-2). THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE.
