Good Morning Children of God, enter into the presence of God through praise and worship with open arms and hearts expecting your blessing. Today as we share this message, BECOMING A LIVING SACRIFICE FOR CHRIST, let us lay aside every weight and embrace the meaning behind the message. Let us center our wondering minds and restless spirits so that we are able to embrace what’s shared here today, equipping us for the purpose of spreading the good news to the world. It is our prayer that you are obedient to the call, willing to make the sacrifice.  Praise the Lord, oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His mercy endures forever (Psalm 106:1-2). Praise him! Praise him! Praise him! Hallelujah!

TODAY’S SONG OF PRAISE:

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!  Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord, he is God; It is he who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise.  Be thankful to him, and bless his name.  For the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting, And his truth endures to all generations. (Psalm 100: 1-5; NKJV)

LET US PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES

O LORD, OUR GOD, I enter into your presents this morning burden down for the people in the Philippines who have been devastated with much destruction from a typhoon and loss of lives for many.  I know that the hearts and minds of your Children from all around the world are feeling their pain and suffering, because when one member of our family hurts all members feel the pain.  Father, in the name of Jesus we seek your blessings over the people’s, that they may find relief and comfort for their grief and pain that they are now experiencing in their physical bodies and spiritual minds.  United the world body behind them that all your Children may find within their hearts to kneel down in prayer and find a way to help in some small way.  Let us find in this tragedy a moment to show love, patience, kindness and understanding becoming one people that are join together by the common bond of love.  In Jesus name we pray, AMEN!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE READING:

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. (Romans 12:1-2 AMP)

TODAY’S BIBLE STUDY AND WORSHIP STUDY IS TITLE:

BECOMING A LIVING SACRIFICE FOR CHRIST

In our Bible Study lesson for this day, Pastor Davis summarizes it with emphasis on SELF and TRUTH.  We have been studying all week this lesson from the Book of Romans 12:1-2.  We encourage you to go back and review these very important lessons.  Now click on this video clip and let us get started with this study session for today.

TODAY’S ALTER CALL:

If you are a person studying this lesson with us today and have not received the saving grace of the Lord and would like to join the Lord’s family of believers and receive eternal life, repeat this short prayer with me:  “Lord I am a sinner, I have sinned against you, I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and on the third day you raised him from the grave and today He lives.  I ask you to forgive me of my sins, and come into my heart and cleanse me of my sins.  If you have prayed this prayer with me, you now are saved and have eternal life in glory.”

We encourage you to find a local Bible Teaching Church and begin to study and fellowship with other believers.  You can also return back here daily and study God’s word with us.  We share the truth of the scriptures daily, and you will find over 1000 topics for study and discussions.  May the saving grace of our Lord and Savior be with you now and forever, in Jesus name, AMEN!

CLOSING PRAYER:

Father, we thank you for directing our hearts and minds in this powerful service today.  Now as we go out to serve, strengthen each one of us in such a way that your presents will be felt by all that we come in contact with.  Now may the saving grace of our Lord and Savior rest and abide in each heart and mind.  In Jesus name, Amen!
