This week we will be studying Romans 12:1-2, learning how we can live for Christ when Truth meets Reality.  The Bible tells us to know the Truth and the Truth will set us Free.  How we get to that truth will be the basics of our teaching this week.  Here is what Romans 12:1-2 says, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.  This is the reality of the truth we must come to know if we are to live for Christ.

Now let me share this truth with you as we begin this week in the newness of the Holy Spirit working through us.  There is but one religion, and that religion is the religion of Truth.  There is also but one error, and that error is of self.  Sometimes we allow self to get in the way of Truth.  Where self is, we will not find Truth, where Truth is self is not.  Therefore, let us discover Truth within ourselves about ourselves and move self out of the way and learn to live each day for Christ.  Jesus declared that if any man wishes to be His Disciple, he must deny himself daily.

Finally, let us learn that self is the denial of Truth.  Truth is the denial of self.  As you let self die, you will be reborn in Truth.  As you cling to self, truth will be hidden from you.  Now know this,  “LIVING FOR CHRIST TRUTH WILL MEET REALITY!

  1. I have been burdened for the Jehovah’s Witness of the world. They have been blinded and believe that what they teach is true, similar to the Apostle Paul when he was yet Saul.
Any thoughts on this or how to contact others who have an initiative going to free them from their oppression of the spirit of “religion”?

Your blog is needed for encouragement of all believers.

    Thanks,

Thank you my friend for visiting with us and sharing your thoughts of wisdom and knowledge. In John 8:32 the bible teaches us to know the truth and the truth will set us free. As a believer, when we know the truth as to who God is, who we are and who we are in God, nothing are no one can take that away from us. We know that there is one God and He is truly the creator of all that there is, and He sent is only begotten Son into this world to save the world from its sins. That is the one truth that we can always stand on and it will never fell us. God has called each of us to go into the world to preach and teach the gospel as it is written. We are not to add anything to it or take anything away from it. What’s in another person heart and what that person may or may not believe is not for us to argue nor set judgment upon. We are called to know the truth, teach that truth and know that truth will always prevail. The Apostle Paul is a living example and many of us can share in that same experience. My final thought is, truth is unchangeable and eternal, it also is independent of our own opinions. We may enter into it, or we may stay outside; but both our defense and our attack are superfluous, and are hurled back upon ourselves. The most important thing we can do is to pray for a change to take place. When our prayers are in line with God’s universal nature, He will answer our prayers. May God bless you my friend abundantly in your daily walk with Him.
